Aurora wiped her tears and looked at herself in the mirror. Her eyes were red from excessive crying as she tried to make herself look normal. Daniel had already left because Aurora didn't want anyone to see him with her, especially in the bathroom. Things could have turned nasty.

She hurriedly left the bathroom and entered the party. The atmosphere had become wild, with loud music dominating the space. Couples were dancing on the dance floor, but her eyes were searching solely on one person: where was he, Rayn?

She glanced at the seat where he had been sitting before, but it was now occupied by another couple who were engrossed in their make-out session.

Then her eyes fell on a figure seated near the bar stool, with a woman beside him, talking and smiling with him.
