When Theo heard Kyle had gone off to settle his fight with Heralis, he had no idea what to expect of it. Would Kyle take the win? Would it lead to another flaw that would give Heralis even more control over his brother's life or would it be the end of having to watch Kyle have things taken from him?

He had no clue, and his thought with no answer had been kept to himself with the hopes that it all ends well.

Only if he had known better.

Only if he had known that the concerns he had directed at Kyle should've gone to Dylan. The last thing he ever saw coming from the fight was them being teleported to the dangerous scene with two beast-like creatures circling their heads, he didn't think he would ever get to see Kyle in his dragon form or see him get his voice back, nor did he also see himself finding out a truth about Dylan he hoped was just a lie Heralis was spouting. The story about Kyle's master which he was sure was a different story from what Kyle told him... was another shocker he

  • His silent voice.   Stay away.

Dylan's eyes slowly blinked open, his sight taking a moment to deblur the heads hovering over him. "D...an?" "Can y... ar me?" He groaned at the fading voices, their gentle voices taking a clear identity in spite of his slow hearing. "...Mom?" Their quiet rejoice and exhales of relief had him squeeze his eyes shut again, this act doing the trick as a second glance at them cleared up his sight to see their worried faces and swollen eyes still filled with tears, making him take a second to recall why his voice was so hoarse and why the ceiling looked unfamiliar. "Guys, where are we?" "Oh god, Dylan." his mom broke into tears again, her hands that had held on to his for a while cupped it up to her cheeks that held her falling tears. "Dylan, oh my... you really had us worried." Bree exhaled heavily as she wiped off what seemed like tears. Was he dreaming? "God, this was so hard to watch." His dad smiled with tears in his eyes. As he glanced at the three stressed presence in th

  • His silent voice.   Familiar face.

His body froze as he watched Mr. Kerwood take out his phone without a second thought, causing the room's temperature to fall from the percing silence. "M-Martha, wait please, there has to be a misunderstanding." his mom stepped ahead of him, a new fear now vivid in her tone. "You shut up, if you had the tiniest bit of shame then you would shut the hell up." Mrs. Kerwood shot at his mom through her tears and he knew things had taken a bleak turn. "This is my son lying right here, not yours. My son is laying right here because of yours, if you think some lousy excuse out of your mouth would bring my son back then go ahead. But if it won't then shut- the hell, up!.""My... my mom knew nothing about it." he stepped forward in a panic. "Theo.""We didn't tell our parents so they have nothing to do with it," Lucas stepped in, "please, Mrs. Kerwood.""Shut up, shut up, just SHUT UP! ALL OF YOU! I don't care whose fault it is, I'm calling the cops on you, ON EVERY ONE OF YOU!" she screame

  • His silent voice.   Despair.

"Oh, thank God." Aaron exhaled heavily as he knelt next to May."You finally snapped out of it." May exhaled in relief while he blinked again, his brain trying to understand where the two came from and why he wasn't staring at Theo and Dorry instead."W-why... why are y-you–?" he stuttered confusedly, May's warm hands taking his in her hold with her eyes still holding a sad gaze at him. He hadn't realized he had morphed back into his human form, but a look around had him even more confused. "Kyle–""Why am I here?" His eyes widened as he tried to move his body that had gone weak. The cold air and floor of the room he had always despised got his stomach churning. He was back in the court room with the upper chambers missing the line of humans and with no idea how he had arrived. "Why am I here? Where... where is..."Amidst his words, the fresh image of Dylan fading out played back in his head and his emotions rushed back in."Where's Dylan?" he turned to May whose gaze finally made s

  • His silent voice.   Loss.

Kyle felt a numbness slowly cloud up his mind as he stared at Heralis. He was finding it hard to accept the truth Dylan had just let out, and now she was trying to push him to the edge by lying right up to his face about an incident he knew better than anyone? He didn't want to listen to anything more she had to say.Something inside him warned him about the pain he was already drowning in, if he kept his patience to listen to another thing that might shatter his world, he really might come to regret it. His master's death-- Darius's death wasn't caused by an ailment."MASTER'S DEATH..."The image that felt new flashed back in his head, the sight of his most respected human whose white presence laid lifelessly on the grond, sullied by the flowing red as the a dagger stuck out his chest brought nothing but more anguish that caused him to bare his fangs."MY MASTER WAS KILLED. THAT BASTARD EURYLUS HAD STABBED HIM IN THE HEART!" Darius had been betrayed and stabbed to death by the one

  • His silent voice.   Weakness.

"Kyle, she's coming." He turned to see Heralis brace her wings and lower herself for another attack, while he braced himself for a wind shock. **STAY BEHIND ME.** Kyle stepped up in front of them and he watched him their view get covered up. Curiously, he moved around till he found a space to peek through Kyle's wings, Dorry and Theo joining him at the edge again. He had to see it through. As Kyle ended up back in the ring, his eyes happened to look back at Heralis who had her eyes on him and not Kyle, then a shiver ran up his spine as he picked up her evil smirk through her dragon form. The smirk that had looked no different from the one he had been worried about hours ago. "FOOLS." She snickered, shocking them all. "She can talk in that form?" Theo's whisper took the question out of his mouth. They watched her take back her attack stance as she sat on her hind legs and stood just as big and domineering as Kyle. Except everything about her scared him. "YOU NEVER LEARN, KY
