Now with that sorted I suppose I had better ring Alex and ask him to fill in for me. I pick up the phone and dial his number he was all too eager to temporarily fill my alpha position even if it were just for the weekend. Although he is my beta and not by choice we both had been through extensive alpha training from a young age just in case something should happen to me or he was mated to a Luna from another pack. So I have no doubt of his abilities for the weekend. If I’m being honest with myself he was almost just as strong ,ruthless and fearless at the academy he only ever lost to me by a hair fraction and that’s what worries me about the council asking i take a chosen mate. Alex is already mated and the only person to come close to my brute strength, tactical and pack political affairs. he truly would have made a great alpha and leader instead his my second in command I know his just waiting for me to slip up so he take the position from me. He would never challenge me for the title because it would mean my parents would lose a son one way or another and he would never put them in that position to lose a child.

With that sorted I ring a first class catering company to set up the best of the best dinner for two with all the extras for Sunday when I plan to ask esme to be my chosen I want the ambiance and everything to be fit for a queen she deserves no less. my mind drifts off to one sexy sandy blonde haired green eyed she wolf whose long legs and perfect body muscles are enough to make my mind go crazy with lust. Then I hear Lycus my wolf “you should stop obsessing with her our mate is out there as is hers I have a bad feeling along with a sense that we will find our fated mate soon so you better not stuff this up” shut it mutt what could go wrong I’ve already seen the witches should the mate issue arise I told you I don’t want my fated I want no one else by my side but esme I’m prepared to reject my mate on site and you or anyone else can not change my mind about this I’m the alpha and I will get what I want one way or another got that clear mutt I’m in charge here not you. Lycus let’s off a deep threatening growl Huffs and mumbles to the back of my subconscious and blocks me out. Good little pup. As I’m about to call it a day my assistant Lexie’s voice comes through the intercom “alpha Sampson alpha clause from high tide pack is on the line he says he needs to speak to you urgently. do I put the call through? or tell him you are busy.”

“Put it through and take no more calls for today I’m heading home after this call and so should you I’m sure your pups are waiting for you.”

“Yes alpha thank you.”
