The couple washed their hands and sat down to have dinner; the appetizing meal paired with its inviting aroma sent a gush of hunger down Lu Sheng's belly. Lu Sheng was a picky eater but when it came to Qin Yue he never complained; since she was living alone for a long time Qin Yue knew how to cook but she never gave any special care to enhance its quality. She was the only one cooking and feeding herself; there were even times when, out of tiredness, she used to skip meal and go to sleep directly.

She was a good cook but her standards could never match to his tongues'; he was brought up eating the meals prepared by professional chefs. At first Lu Sheng had difficulties to get accustomed to her food style, even Qin Yue knew about it but there was nothing she could do.
