Chapter 1: Meet-Cute

Samantha walked down the bustling streets of the city, trying to keep her eyes on the map on her phone. She had just moved to the city for college and was still getting used to the chaotic urban environment. As she tried to make sense of the directions, she felt a sudden jolt as she collided with someone.

"I'm so sorry," she gasped, looking up to see a tall, handsome man with piercing blue eyes.

"It's no problem," he replied with a warm smile. "Are you okay?"

Samantha nodded, feeling a strange flutter in her chest. She couldn't help but notice how attractive he was, with his perfectly styled hair and expensive-looking suit.

"I'm Adam," he introduced himself, extending a hand.

"Samantha," she replied, shaking his hand.

Adam's eyes flickered to her backpack. "Are you lost?"

Samantha sighed, feeling embarrassed. "Yeah, I'm supposed to be staying with a friend, but I can't seem to find the right address."

Adam's expression softened. "Why don't you let me help? I live nearby and I know the area pretty well."

Samantha hesitated. She had been warned about the dangers of trusting strangers, but there was something about Adam that made her feel safe.

"Okay," she said finally, her heart racing.

Adam led her down the streets, pointing out the landmarks and sharing stories about the city. Samantha couldn't help but be impressed by his knowledge and charm.

As they arrived at his apartment building, Adam turned to her. "Why don't you stay with me for the night? It's late and you look exhausted."

Samantha's heart skipped a beat. She knew it was a risky move, but she also knew that she didn't have many other options.

"Okay," she said, a shy smile spreading across her face.

Adam led her up to his spacious apartment, offering her a guest room to stay in. As Samantha settled into the cozy bed, she couldn't help but wonder what fate had brought her to meet someone like Adam.
