Chapter 28: New Friends

Samantha was sitting at a coffee shop, scrolling through her phone when she noticed a woman who had been sitting next to her for a while, glancing over at her phone every now and then.

"Excuse me," the woman said, leaning over. "I couldn't help but notice that you're looking at some job listings. Are you job hunting?"

Samantha looked up, surprised. "Uh, yeah. I just moved here, and I'm looking for work."

"I thought so," the woman said with a smile. "I'm Rachel. I work at a marketing agency here in town, and we're actually looking for someone to fill a position. Would you be interested in meeting with me and my team?"

Samantha was taken aback. "Really? That would be amazing. Thank you so much!"

Rachel gave Samantha her business card and told her to call her later to set up a meeting. As she walked away, Samantha couldn't believe her luck.
