Chapter 14

Vincent look around as he reached the rooftop. He waited for his wife to fall asleep before discreetly sneaking to the spot Romana said.

"Romana..." he softly called her name.

The atmosphere was cold and the surroundings is dark. The cold air that touches his skin delivers shivers. His steps interrupted when two arms unexpectedly wrapped around his waist from behind.

"I thought you wouldn't come for me anymore, Baby. I miss you so much."

A wide smile flashed on his lips after he confirmed that it was Romana. He turned to face her.

"I miss you too. I'm sorry if I didn't say even goodbye from the night I left you ... Laila had a heart attack. I haven't been able to return your car because of so much that happened."

Her two arms fastened around his neck and her two legs enveloped his waist. Vincent grabbed her butt to keep her from falling.

"Don't think about the car. Even if you don't return it, it's okay with me. I can purchase even a hundred of them. What I crave is to be with you now
