Jennifer's POV

“This is a disaster!” I screamed as I entered the bathroom of my new rented house, and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the bathroom flooded with water. I noticed that the leakage was from the apartment above mine, so I called the landlord, and she told me that the plumber would be there.

“Ahh!” I screamed as I held the pot over my head, and I wondered when the plumber would be there. After a while of holding the pot over my head, the plumber came, and he repaired the leakage while cracking a dry joke.

“So did you live alone?” He asked, looking around my shabby place, and I immediately got wary. I heard of single ladies getting attacked because they lived alone.

“No, I'm not; my boyfriend will be home soon.” I blurted, showing the man the way out, and he didn't believe my words, but I didn't care.

I thoroughly cleaned the place, and it looked a little habitable with that, but I made a mental note to get some wallpapers to cover the wall mold. I made a trip to the

  • Housekeeper For My Hot Professor    Same Nightmare, Same Gaps

Lyon's POV “What!” She exclaimed, and that jolted me back to my senses. What did I just say to my housekeeper?“I—I didn't mean to—” I stuttered, and I trailed off seeing that I wasn't making any sense. I knew I had been acting strange ever since I woke up from a coma, but ever since I arrived back home, I noticed I was more strange. And it always had something to do with my housekeeper. I got unnecessarily nervous around her, and I tended to notice that her mood changed, but why?Just like now, I was supposed to be in the study room, and seeing her alone in the garden, I decided to join her, but why did I spew such nonsense?“I bet you don't mean that, right? Or do you?” She asked, her eyes beaming with stars, and for a while, I was star-struck. How could any man think of playing around with such a beautiful woman? Even with the burn on her face, she looked irresistibly beautiful under the moonlight, but immediately I realized what I was doing. I jolted out of my reverie.“No, of c

  • Housekeeper For My Hot Professor    Who Will Date Her?

Jennifer's POV“Good tidings? Why are you moving in?” I mean, we are not married anymore, so I don't see a reason why you are–” Lyon was saying, but Meredith just cut him off. “Are you saying I can't stay here? I just want to keep you company since you might be bored–and trust me, I'm just doing this for a friend,” she explained, but I knew that was a lie . "Oh, then you can stay, and leave tomorrow morning." Lyon mumbled, but I knew that wouldn't happen.I was surprised by Meredith's entrance, but I decided to be polite and offered her dinner. As I was serving the food, Meredith pulled a lot of tricks which made me make a lot of mistakes, and she blamed it on my incompetence. “How did you even get this job if you aren't good at it?” Meredith rumbled, and I sighed heavily. “What nonsense are you saying? I'm sure I employed her because she's good; she might just be out of it because she has a lot on her mind.” Lyon said, and I smiled. He always defended me no matter what, which made

  • Housekeeper For My Hot Professor    Good Tidings

Jennifer's POV I looked at the check Meredith was holding, and I couldn't imagine why the woman liked to trample on me anytime she got the chance. I reached out for it with shaky hands, and I smirked seeing her triumphant smile, but her smile faded when I tore the paper into pieces. “Thanks, but no, thanks; I'm going back to the house—” I rasped, and she hollered in anger.“What! Have you lost it? Did you think you would be able to survive the humiliation of Lyon not being remembered by him? How long will you be able to do that? Did you think you would even last?” Meredith rambled, and I smirked, seeing how tense she was.“I'm going to last, so you can sit back and watch!” I mumbled, but Meredith was spiteful.“No, you won't! Especially not with that hideous face!" She slammed.“Then watch me do it. Watch me break your lies and have Lyon remember me, but did you think you would be saved if he did remember?” I taunted, but it was like I touched a sore spot, as she looked immediately,

  • Housekeeper For My Hot Professor    A Blank Check

Jennifer's POV My lips quivered in fear as those words left my mouth. I didn't even know what I was thinking to introduce myself as his housekeeper when I knew I should be running away from him, but I couldn't help it.He was standing so close to me, yet it felt he was so far. His gaze didn't hold the warmth it always had for me, but seeing how he was concerned about me, I decided not to give up on us. So what if he forgot about me? I could just make him remember me; maybe this was the heaven's test for our relationship.“Proof? Did you mean I should prove to you that I'm your housekeeper?” I asked, and I panicked a little because I wasn't expecting that. “We signed a contract together; don't you remember?” I added, and I watched him squint his eyes like he was trying to remember something. “Don't push it, Lyon. It's true, she's your housekeeper,” Meredith affirmed, and I sighed in relief.“Oh, but why is it that I can't remember you at all, not even a detail?” Lyon rasped, and I cr

  • Housekeeper For My Hot Professor    Gaps In His Head

Lyon's POV“Your vitals are okay, and your wounds are healing up; you should be getting discharged in a few days.” The doctor explained, and my family beamed with excitement hearing such news. That was the first time they looked so relieved ever since I woke up, but I didn't share that excitement with them.I was puzzled about a lot of things, and even though the doctors told me that I was lucky because my condition was critical when I was brought in, and it was only a miracle that I survived, a question kept lingering in my mind.Where was I going in a rush before I got into an accident? My driver was a careful person, and he would never jeopardize our lives carelessly, so what went wrong?“Thanks, but are you sure about that? I feel weird, like I'm forgetting something, and there's this strange gap in my head that feels like something was filling it before. Are you sure the surgery didn't have complications?” I asked, and the doctors looked awkward with my questions.“Nothing is wro

  • Housekeeper For My Hot Professor    Jackpot!

Meredith's POV I watched as Jennifer walked out of the room, with Jared walking behind her, and I rolled my eyes in disgust. I couldn't believe I had to stoop so low because of a runt like that, but I knew she would be out of our lives soon; I just needed to make my exit quickly.“So what do you want to know about Mr. Sander's health? You know I can't tell you much because you are not a direct relative or have any relationship with the patient.” The doctor said, but I just waved him off dismissively.“I'm his ex-wife, if that is enough as a relationship,” I rasped, and the doctor chuckled. “So about what you said earlier, do you mean he can't remember only her, but he can remember everyone else?” I asked, and a smile crept up to my lips. That was the best news I had heard so far.“Yes, Ms Orlando, it's just as you asked; we made sure that Mr. Sander was properly hypnotized so that he wouldn't remember that girl, and it worked.” The doctor replied, and I chuckled loudly, celebrating m

  • Housekeeper For My Hot Professor    Selective Amnesia

Jennifer's POV I looked at Lyon in shock, hoping whatever was going on was a prank, but his eyes were fixated on me, like my entire existence disgusted him. Was that really unsightly?“Lyon–it’s me.” I mumbled slowly; my voice cracked at the end, and I was almost moved to tears, but whatever was going on.“Lyon? Why are you addressing me so informally? Do we know each other? Even if we do, I don't think we will be that close for us to be on a first-name basis—” he rasped, but his words were interrupted by the trail of doctors that rushed into the room. They all started attending to Lyon, leaving me in a state of trance, hoping that whatever I just heard was a brutal joke by Lyon to get under my skin. It was true that I had a terrible burn, but he should recognize me regardless of my burn injury.“I know you doctors are busy, but can you really let a stranger be in my room?” Lyon breathed with an irritated face, and that was when I noticed the difference between the man I knew and the

  • Housekeeper For My Hot Professor    Do We Know Each Other, Miss?

Jennifer's POVI had been living in misery ever since the day I woke up in the hospital, and when I thought it would get better, it got worse with time. Everyone I knew treated me like a plague, and I was also forbidden to check on Lyon, who I found out was in the same hospital with me. I tried to get information about his status, but the only thing I could get was that he was still in a coma. The thought that he might be avoiding me crossed my mind once, but I knew that wasn't possible. “Miss Kendrick, it is time for me to disinfect your wound,” the nurse rasped, breaking into my train of thoughts, and that jerked me out of my reverie. “Good morning, let me take a quick shower.” I told her as I went into the restroom, but I fell into a state of despair when I saw my reflection in the mirror. The burn ran down to the left side of my face, covering my forehead with blisters, but it wasn't that hideous as it healed, and I could only hope it got better.“I'm never going to forgive you,

  • Housekeeper For My Hot Professor    Their Ill-fated Friendship Ends

Vera's POV I had been living in fear ever since the day I attacked Jennifer with acid, but my anxiety grew day by day. Lyon Sander was too quiet, and I knew with what I did, he should have hunted me down, but we hadn't heard anything. I was a living mess, as I couldn't sleep a wink with the fear that I could get taken away by his men in my sleep, but since he didn't attack, my mother thought it was best to run away since I was the least of their problems.Maybe Jennifer was really hurt, and she hasn't come out of a coma, which explains Lyon's silence. “It's best that I just run away!” I concluded, as I opened my box to flee the country, but the doctor in my room was kicked open by my parents, who didn't look pleased.“Vera Kingston! You unfilial child!” My mother called as she barged into my room, but I didn't glance at her. She just came back from her vacation after she heard about the trouble I caused, so I doubted that she was worried about me.“Have you lost it! What have you do
