Chapter 12: A Successful Audition

The voice belonged to Calvin’s father, Richard Fry. He was surprised to see one of his own bodyguards get disarmed so easily. Who was Shane and where did he come from?

However, Mr Fry wasn’t satisfied at all. He stopped Shane from dealing the decisive blow because he thought Shane was about to end the life of one of his bodyguards. He just couldn’t stand by and watch it happen.

“You three, go get him!” Mr Fry ordered to the other three bodyguards he had around him.

Calvin was still shell shocked from when he saw Shane take out the bodyguard like that. He didn’t know Shane was really that capable.

Calvin’s plan was to ask his father to be his bodyguard and when his father would ask Shane to demonstrate his skills, he would ask the guards who would be up against him to throw the match.
