36. Why?

Ankita's POV

"I can't do this. "

I said to myself in frustration and closed the book quite loudly.

I was sitting alone in my room with a book to read. But I was bored to death. 3 days ago, Tithi left for her home after staying with me for 4 days. I told her to stay for a day extra….in fact Elijah also told her the same but she was adamant to go home as Dad was handling the cafe alone. So I didn't force her much as she was correct in her place.

I had done my breakfast and surprisingly Elijah didn't join me today. When I asked about him to Randeep ,he said that he was busy with some work….and not to forget ,he teased me also saying that I was missing Elijah.

"Truth is Truth,my dear"

There comes my blood-pumping machine.

"I don't miss him….I just asked because he never did something like that before ." I justified myself .

"As if I believe you." My heart said. I chose to ignore her.

I went out of my room as I was feeling hungry though an hour ago I had my breakfast.
