One week passed, and I did not hear from Oscar. I hid my worry during the day and panicked, and cried at night. I did not know what to do. I knew Gavin had a way of communicating with him. I knew something sinister might have happened because Oscar wasn't the type to break his promise. After much deliberation and pondering, I decided I would ask Gavin and see what happens.

My combat training went well, and I picked up quite fast. Dan said my skill adaptation was like magic, and no hunter had ever learned that fast before.
