Chapter 42: Gratitude  

(Freya POV)

I smiled when I look at the heart warming scenes in front of my eyes. All the warriors were meeting with their families. Their families were thanking me and I looked at Kandrix.

“You did an amazing job, Love! I am so proud of you,” Louis kissed me on the forehead and I smiled before closing my eyes. I felt like every ounce of my energy drained from my body and then he carried me bridal style. I don’t know when I drifted to sleep. It's the second time when I passed out like this. I know, My powers will drain all the energy of my body but I don’t want to leave those warriors on their own when I can help them.

I got up when I heard a loud cry and my heart raced with fear. I look around and everyone was asleep. Louis was sleeping on the chair near my bed while Kandrix was sleeping on the second corner with our pups sleeping next to him. I put them in the crib in night, so they can get comfortable sleep but they were looking really relaxed sleeping neat to their father.
