Third Person POV Reid was at home. Every corner of his house now screamed with Alison’s absence. He had originally planned to apologize properly to Alison at the restaurant tonight, but Alison really shouldn’t have treated Daphne that way. Daphne was only eighteen. There was no need to take things so seriously with a teenager. Just then, Britta walked into his study dressed provocatively and brought him a cup of coffee. “Come on, Reid. Don’t tell me that you are still worried about her? She is just throwing a tantrum. Alison’s POV The two men only tightened their grip. “I wondered what Reid would think if he saw the kind of company his little sister keeps.” I sneered at Daphne. “Too bad, you’ll never find out. Is your word against mine.” She laughed. “Oh, dear Alison you thought you could just ignore me without paying the consequences. It’s time to teach you a lesson.” She signaled her men as the whole group of six circled me. “What are you doing?” I said as I pushed the men back with force. They staggered, surprised that I managed to push them away. I am an alpha daughter. I am not weak. They started laughing between them. “Come on!” The biggest one sneered. “Don’t tell a dainty woman is stronger than you two?” He advanced closer to me. “Come here princess, you and I are going to have some fun.” He licked his lips. “Shane” Daphne warned him. “I said we will only scare her. Do not touch her, she is still my brother’s side piece after all. If you go further than that he will investigate.”

Alison’s POV “Dream on, Reid.” I spat, which rattled him even more. I could hear Britta in the back, trying to calm him down with that fake concern of hers. ‘Reid, calm down. Our interview is in a few minutes. I’m sure Alison didn’t mean it. But you know her. Small minds work that way, without thinking of consequences.’ Godess, I loathed her. Third-person POV “I must be hearing things.” Reid mumbled to himself. How could Alison possibly know Alpha Kane? That’s impossible. It was virtually impossible for these two to have any connection.
