My feet trembled beneath me as I felt his gaze lingering on my face. I let go of his hand, but as I tried to step aside, he held me back and pulled me closer to him.

His arms wrapped around my waist, drawing me in so suddenly that I gasped. The warmth of his body seared through my thin clothes, and I could feel the rapid beat of his heart against mine. Every nerve in me came alive.

Before I could blink an eye, he cupped my face and possessed my lips, kissing me deeply. His lips moved over mine, and our tongues met the moment I allowed him in.

He spun us, pinning me to the wall with the force of his body. I found myself gripping his neck, not wanting him to let go.
