She is Dying

Scott

At moment, my focus went on the blood soaking her jeans. Slowly, it dripped down the chair legs and pooling beneath her.

My stomach dropped.

Jace stiffened at my side, his hand twitching near his holster but he didn’t move. Neither did I. One wrong move, and Louisa could die.

“She’s bleeding,” Jace said quietly, voice cracking. “Please. She’s pregnant. We need to rush her to a hospital, now.”

Thomas’s sneer deepened. “Why should I spare her?” His voice was cruel. “She’s the one thing standing between me and everything I want. All that power locked inside the girl who murdered her family.”

My chest heaved and my fists clenched.

She was dying and I couldn’t stop it. I had to find a way to get out of here, I need to think.

Instinctively, I leaned into Jace, voice barely a breath. “Attack him and I'll grab her and get her out of here."

Jace’s eyes snapped to mine. “No, he'll shoot her.” his voice low as well.

“No,” I whispered back, heart thundering. “He won’t. She’s useless to him

Louisa/AgnesThe halls were quiet now. Night had settled over silencing the chaos of the day. The doctors had all gone and Thomas was now locked up in a room.I sat beside Jace, holding his hand in mine. His grip was warm and strong again.“I’m sorry,” he said gently, his thumb brushing over my knuckles. “For everything you went through. For not being able to protect you...... I shouldn't have left alone in the hospital."I shook my head slowly, a small smile tugging at my lips. “You’re the one who almost died, Jace. You shouldn't be the one apologising."He nodded. "But still..... You mean the world to me Louisa, I don't mind dying a thousand times just to see you breath."My heart clenched. Those were so similar to Kaleb's words to me, few weeks before he slaughtered my coven. Not just similar, almost the same.I could still remember vividly, like it was yesterday. He said, "You mean the world to me Agnes, I wouldn't mind killing all my people just to see you breath."He knew his pe

Louisa/AgnesI couldn't let Celine get to Scott and Jace in anyway. Not when I know they want to uproot me out of Louisa's body.I had tell Scott the truth about Mia, but he seemed so in doubt."Why?" He asked again, stepping closer."I had my own plans on how to teach everyone of them a lesson."He scoffed, "You!... Teach Mia and Thomas a lesson?"Of course, he couldn't believe me and I don't blame him. He remembers Louisa to be naive, wolf-less and weak. But I'm Agnes Hale and part of my plans would be to harm those who tried to harm Louisa.Yes I took over her body but that also saved her life and it was after I had taken over her body that I got realize how much she had suffered in the hands of all these people including this Alpha Scott before.Louisa will be grateful when I'm done with all of them, when I finally let go of her body.Although the only slight problem is that only person who truly valued her was Jace, yet Jace carries the face of Alpha Kaleb, the same beast that ra

  • I Came Back For My Alpha and Mate   Chapter 80

Scott"Scott.... The baby.." she moaned, breath shuttering. My stomach clenched violently.“Damn it!” I shouted. “Get a doctor in here, now!”The guards outside must’ve heard me because the door banged open a second later, and two doctors rushed in, eyes going wide at the sight of Mia slumped in the chair, blood soaking through everything.“She’s hemorrhaging,” one of them said, already pulling gloves on. “Get her on the bed. Now!”I lifted her gently, my hands trembling as I carried her limp body across the room another bed. She whimpered as I laid her down, her arms weakly clinging to my shirt."You fucking shot me!" She cried. "This is all on you.""I know... I know," I whispered against her temple. "But you have to calm down, please."She nodded, barely. The doctors were already moving around us in a blur. One of them asked, "What exactly happened?""I gave her the antidote to save her life, and after that, she started bleeding after coughing out the same stuff my brother coughed

  • I Came Back For My Alpha and Mate   Chapter 79

ScottI stood before the entrance door to my sitting room, the cold weight of the gun still firm in my hand when I heard his car driving in.A few seconds later, the door flew open.Zach, Mia’s uncle stormed in, his expensive coat flaring behind him like a cape. He still had his arrogant smirk on though deep lines scored his forehead, and his eyes burned with urgency. A small black case dangled from his hand.“Well, well,” I drawled, lifting an eyebrow. “Took you ten minutes to get here. Impressive.”He didn’t smile. “Where is my niece?”“Where’s the antidote?” I asked.Without hesitation, he tossed the case at me. I caught it midair and cracked it open immediately. Three vials, glistening with a silvery-blue liquid, nestled inside foam. My eyes flicked to the guards stationed just outside the hallway.I gave a subtle wink. With the soft scrape of movement, both guards stepped in and shut the door behind Zack, locked it with a loud metallic click that echoed through the room.Zach spu

Louisa/Agnes The ceiling spun slowly above me, a pale blur in the soft candlelight. A low hum surrounded me, machines, whispers, footsteps on polished floors. Doctors moved around me, ghostlike in their white coats. One pressed a cold stethoscope against my chest, another read something off a glowing tablet. Their words barely touched me, a blur of medical terms and cautious optimism. But I wasn’t really listening.I could feel it, deep down. My body was knitting itself back together faster than it should. The ache was still there, the bruises raw and angry, but the worst of it was already fading.I have my new alpha ability to thank.I blinked slowly, eyes drifting to the faint glow of the mark at the base of my neck. Scott’s mark.It pulsed faintly.“Her vitals are stabilizing,” one of the doctors muttered. “Faster than expected.”I turned my head slightly. “When do I finally get out of here?” I asked softly, my voice hoarse. “I mean since I'm healing faster than I should.”The do
