“If your dreams don’t scare you, they are too small” -Richard Branson

Dreams were a path for people to achieve something they want in their lives. These thoughts made them see a bigger picture other than the situation they were in. A cherished aspiration. A goal ---- a finish line of a race. People wanted to achieve something, bigger than everyone else. Money, power, fame, and career were the fundamentals of life as people thought. If you don’t have any of these, you’re useless, pathetic---- worse, people might see you as nothing.

People started dreaming when they reach a certain age of consciousness where they knew what they want in life whether they saw other people’s achievements around them or people they saw on television or what they read in books.

All of them were eager to learn, to grow, to lift their life to the highest ladder of life possible so they won’t be belittled. They were pressured with every societal norm that life throws out--- people throw out rather. Everyone kept on running towards a dead end but keep on figuring out how to fight, how to climb up even though there was no way to run anymore.

An achiever that made his or her dream come true didn’t truly become happy. There was something they kept on missing while they chase their dreams. It piled up and when they reached the finish line---- it was over. They recognized it but it was too late to do anything.
