Chapter 29
I arrived at the police station and parked the car across the street so that it could not be spotted. I took the laptop with me and I walked into the police station and immediately after I entered through the door of the station, some of the police officers started glancing at me, they looked at me like they recognized me from somewhere. I walked towards the receptionist who spotted me the minute I walked through those doors.
“Hi” she greeted me.
This was not the same receptionist I knew back then; I was expecting to see the eyebrow lady on that reception. I assumed that she must’ve been fired maybe, since she was a rude one. This new receptionist was much better than the eyebrow lady, she was decent and polite with a very beautiful smile.
