God couldn't be this cruel. He couldn't have sent Ivan my way two times in a day. That was something the devil would do.

“Are you alright, hon?” Mom asked, her tone a bit surprised.

No, I'm not, mom. This man can't be your fiance! He's a monster.

“Are you alright, dear?” Ivan asked, his face laced with worry.

This monster can actually look worried? Huh?

I gripped the edge of my chair and sat down again. Then I forced a smile. “I'm fine. Just startled, that's all.”

Ivan smiled. “I understand, dear.” Then he turned to mom. “I teach at her university.”

Mom clapped her hands and smiled. “That's wonderful. You two have already met?”

My hands trembled as I reached for a glass of water. “Y - yes. He taught today.”

“Yes. Your daughter is such a bright student, Lana. You did a good job raising her.” Ivan took mom's hand and kissed it.

How could he do this and feel comfortable?

Mom, get your hand away from him!

I wanted to scream but I couldn't.

I pushed back my chair again, surprising them both. “I forgot I have a study group at Gigi’s. I have to go. It was nice meeting you…”

“Sabrina,” Mom gave me a look that said ‘sit your ass down right now’ before scoffing. “But you've barely eaten.”

“I'm not hungry,” I took a step back. “See ya.”

I didn't waste any second in that house. I grabbed my phone and picked out a few clothes. I wasn't going to…

My phone buzzed and I reached for it. Please, let it be Gigi.

The text I saw started me.

Unknown number: “Come back to dinner or I'll tell your mother you snuck into my mansion last night.”

I didn't need any more information to tell me that the sender was Ivan. But how the hell did he get my number?

Me : “You wouldn't dare”

Ivan : “Try me.”

Then he sent an attachment. It was a photo of him kissing mom's ring. The engagement ring he'd given her.

Me : “Why are you doing this to me? Why won't you just leave me alone?”

Ivan : “I'm not doing anything. Come downstairs.”

Me : “Fine.”

I wiped the tears trailing down my cheeks and turned downstairs.

Mom's eyes fell on my empty hand and her brows pinched. “You're not going?”

“The girls cancelled so I'll just study later.” I swallowed as I resumed my seat.

The rest of dinner, I avoided Ivan's gaze. I made sure I tidied up the dishes and dried them as fast as I could so I could get out of here.

I was just about to put the last plate in the cabinet when I felt a larger than life presence behind me.

“You're avoiding me like a plague.” He purred.

“Whose fault is that?” I hissed.

“I don't know, who is it?” he easily reached for the plate in my hand and placed it in the cupboard.

I turned around to face him. “It's you. You make me uncomfortable!”

“Really? I didn't notice.” He smiled.

“Just what are you doing here? First, my professor now, my mom's fiancee?” I scoffed.

“No, stepfather,” he corrected. “I'll be getting married to your mom soon.”

“I hate you.” And I meant it with every fibre of my being.

“No, you don't,” he leaned closer. “You don't hate me, Sabrina.”

“Proving to you that you don't hate me.” He rubbed his nose against my neck and I bit down on my bottom lip.

“What are you doing? Mom's in the other room.” I whispered.

His hand dropped to my hips while the other caressed the back of my neck.

“Lana takes forever to get her makeup done. Besides, we know how indecisive she is when choosing a dinner dress.” He chuckled.

“Don’t… stop.” I whispered.

“Don’t stop? Or don't and stop.” He chuckled again, peppering kisses down my neck.

“Don't at all! You're my mom's fiance!” I tried to push him away.

“So?” He didn't stop kissing me.

I trailed my fingers to the back of his hair and gripped it as hard as I could. “We can't do that to her.”

“She wouldn't know as long as we don't tell her,” Ivan pulled away. “Come on. I know you want me.”

He's wrong. I would never want him. Not in a million years.

“What do you say, Sabrina?” He brushed his finger over my bottom lip. “Me and you?”

“No.” I hissed.

“What about one kiss?” he pouted.

“No.” I shook my head.

“No?” He gripped my hips and lifted me into the kitchen counter.

I panicked. “What are you doing?”

“Make you look at me better. You can't keep craning your neck to look at me.” He smiled.

That was very considerate but knowing that it was coming from this asshole made it look weird.

“I'm not kissing you, Ivan.” I whispered.

“Babe, do I wear the green dress or the white one?” Mom called from upstairs.

“The green one.” We both chorused.

“Aww. My two favourite people. I know you two will get along pretty well.” Mom cooed.

“We are!” Ivan called back.

Sicko!

“What do you say? Hmm? I won't bite.” He reached for my thigh, stroking my naked skin. Why did this gown have a slit?

His fingers brushed against my inner thighs and I curled my toes. What was this feeling?

“Stop…” I managed a whisper. Why did I feel so good?

“You like that?” He grinned, reaching his hand further inside.

I threw my head back enjoying the smooth caress. “Hmm.”

“Use your words, Sabrina.” He said.

“I… yes…”

His hand found my hair and he pulled me to face him now. “That kiss…”

“We won't tell mom. And this will be the last time.” I said, showing him my pinky.

“Agreed.”

I had barely gotten the chance to hook my arms around his neck when he slammed his lips against mine.

I moaned against his lips while running my fingers through his hair. He seemed to like that because he groaned.

“You taste amazing.” He smiled as he kissed me harder.

I arched my back when his fingers reached my panties and pulled them to the side.

“You're already wet for me, aren't you?” he mumbled against my lips.

“So guys, I am ready.” Mom's voice echoed through the house. She's coming.

I snapped from my daze and pushed Ivan away then I jumped off the counter and rushed to the sink, pretending to wash my hands.

“There's my favourite people,” mom smiled as she twirled in her green flare gown. “How do I look?”

“Amazing.” I said as I looked at her.

“You look beautiful,” Ivan reached for mom and kissed her cheek. “Shall we?”

“Of course.” Then mom turned to me. “We'll be gone for long, honey.”

I nod quietly. “Yeah.”

I couldn't meet her eyes. Not after what I'd done.

“See ya.”

I waited till I heard the front door close then I released the breath I'd been holding.

God, what the hell did I just do? I kissed Ivan!

My phone buzzed with an incoming text and I reached for it absentmindedly.

My thighs clenched at the message.

Unknown number: “We'll be home soon. Wait for me at the mansion.”

I should say no. After all he'd done, he didn't have any right to demand anything from me but that kiss… I wanted more of it.

I typed back. Mom, I'm so sorry.

Me : Fine. I'll be waiting.

I've never felt the sudden urge to throw up than I did right now.The man who had assaulted me last night. The crazy bastard who had used me like I was nothing was looking right at me.His jet black hair was cropped tight at the sides and was a bit grey. His lips were set in a thin line and the white stubbles on his cheeks enhanced his looks. Every inch of his clothing from his tailored slacks to his white shirt, clung to his body. He looked hot despite being mature. Looking at him made me sick in so many ways. Just last night, I prayed I'd never see him and now he was standing here in front of me as my professor of criminal law.Why was a professor in a mansion that wasn't his? Forcing a young lady to go on him?! The class seemed to hold their breath as he talked to them. They seemed mesmerized even. You don't see a handsome professor everyday. If only they knew that type of man he was.“Welcome to criminal law” he said in the same calm deep voice he spoke last night and I nearly

When I wake up, I'll text my girlfriends about it. “If you don't like that option then, we can do something better.” His fingers moved to stroke my bottom lip, parting it slowly. In my life, I've never been as frozen as I was right now. He slid his fingers down to my throat and squeezed hard. “You can either get on all fours or you can use your mouth.” I wish this was a dream but it wasn't. It was all real. This crazy bastard is real. Now, I realized how much trouble I was in. This psycho will kill me.“So? Which is it?” he asked in a soft voice. • I KISSED MY STEP-FATHER AND I LIKE IT   SABRINA'S POV

Breaking into a million dollars hadn't been in my plans for tonight but plans changed and people adapted especially when their moms went out with their girlfriends to celebrate their engagement. Apparently, mom's new boyfriend gave her a fancy ring and she went out to celebrate, forgetting that we had a pile of unopened bills and a voicemail from the utility company that sounded very much like a threat. My knees scraped against the concrete as I hauled myself onto the terrace ledge and over the railing, praying my thrift-store dress doesn't give up on me. Luckily, I landed on the terrace without incident and slipped back into the sneakers and bag I'd tossed over. My heartbeat drummed in my ears as I reached the sliding door. I would've gone through the front door but I'd get caught immediately so the back terrace was my only option. I picked the lock, praying my lock picking skills wouldn't fail me now. I fumbled with the keyhole for a few seconds before I heard a click. Bingo! A
