The next morning Jade got ready to go out and look at the lane. She couldn't let go of the matter until she investigated it thoroughly. When she came down to have food, it was 11 in the morning. She didn't know how and why she slept for so long. Her father was not there on the table. He might probably have left for work, she thought. The food was ready and served on the table. She took 2 slices of French toast and a glass of orange juice. After finishing the food, she put on sneakers and went out.The sun was shining bright in the sky, the day felt rather hot than usual. As usual the garage was locked, so she couldn't take her bike. Crossing the road, she went to the other side and passed the lanes one after another. She was almost there, 5 meters away. She was waiting on the footpath for the red light to cross the road when a familiar car stopped in front of her."Crap." She turned around, but it was too late to leave. Her father stepped out of the car and held her by the cap of her
"Don't you dare to stop me!" Jade said to her maid. She was leaving her room through the window, her father Shaw Halston, locked her in the room to take her to a business party in the evening."Lady Jade, please. Your father strictly instructed me to keep an eye on you." The maid said, walking towards her.Tying the one end of the rope to the bed frame, she threw the rest out of the window. She then faced her maid whilst placing her hands on his waist."Good job. You are doing it. Your eyes are all on me." She fake-smiled at her maid."Then do not go." The maid said."Your work is to 'keep an eye', do your work and do not stop me." Jade picked her backpack and swung it over her shoulders. "Even if you do, you know the result." She then added."Looks like you watched many fairy tales to go out like that." The maid said just to stop her. Jade is not a person who love fairy tales or barbies. She would rather prefer bad boys or bikes."Oh please." She waved her hand in the air. "Tricks w
"That was a great movie." Jade said while coming out of the theater along with her friends."I like it too." Emma added."Not a fan of vehicles, so I pass the 'me too' here." She waved her hand in the air."We didn't force you to come." Jade shrugged her shoulders."Excuse me?" Lily turned to face Jade. "You dragged me here by pre-booking the tickets without even asking me." She turned Jade to meet her eyes."Ok ok fine." Jade chuckled. "You know what I liked most about the movie, though it has a name '5 minute car crash' they also have bikes in the race." She clapped her hands in excitement."Hold your horses, Miss bike lover." Emma said."I can't, when it's a bike instead of a horse." Jade looked at her. Emma scoffed a laugh at her words. She then asked. "Where is your bike?""In the garage. Father locked the garage to ground me." Jade responded."Then how did you come?" Lily asked."I broke out of the window." Jade said nonchalantly."Are you serious? You live on the second floor.
