70. The Wedding

While on his way to the main road, Asher saw Russ driving his car with the police patrol following him to find Max. 

The only place that Claud might bring her was his abandoned apartment so Russ told the police about his address. Asher doesn't know what to do because he will blame himself if something bad will happens to her because of him. 

"Are we far yet? Can we hurry because I know that Claud doesn't listen to anyone? I know Maggie did all of this because she wants Max out from our life!", Asher keep telling Russ and he was worried too for Max because she was very dear to him. 

While focusing his eyes on the roadway, deep inside he was scared because Max knows how he has feelings for her but he gives way since she loves Asher. 

" You're not the only one who wants her safe. I am worried about her because I am her friend too," he told him while gently slowing down the speeds of his car.
