69. Finding and Saving Max
Max didn't know what to do when Claud started to point the gun in her head.
She's alone and has nowhere to call to help her so she suddenly got nervous about what will happen to her when Claud will kill her. She was thinking of her daughter Tally if she will die. She was still young to be left alone in this world. She doesn't want her daughter to be an orphan just like her so whatever it takes, she will make sure that she will live.
"You are a good guy, Claud. I know that and if you love her, don't let her use you. It's a selfish thing. Tell her you like her and she will have to accept that Asher doesn't love her!", Max tried to convince Claud of doing the right thing but instead of listening to her, he tightened his grip on the pistol and load the gun ready to shot her.
