Maybe we can talk tomorrow

[ Denise's POV ]

I was about answering the lady on the phone when Jake took the phone from behind me. "Why did you answer my phone?" He asked, looking angry.

"Who was she? And why did she say she missed you?" I asked and I could feel my heart getting hurt. I love Jake so much and is really going to hurt me if he's cheating on me.

"You shouldn't have answered my phone Denise," He said.

"I know it is wrong for me to have answered your phone, but who is she? Why is she saying she missed you?" I asked, expecting him to give me answers.

Jake sat back in his seat and I waited patiently for him to tell me who the lady on the phone earlier was.

"She is my cousin" Jake answers, but I needed more explanation. "Your cousin? But she didn't sound as if she was your cousin. The lady on the phone just now said she missed you" I said as my eyes became wet.

I'm easily prone too tears. If something hurts me, it always makes me cry and that's why I can't hold back my tears after hearing another lady say
