Days passed and soon, I became Alpha Kade’s favorite spar partner. I was happy with the new development but I needed more than just being Kade’s spar partner. I sighed at the thought. Later that day, I was called to the throne room. There, I met Torren, a few Elders, Tim and Alpha Kade.In sighting the stern faces Torren and the elders present, I knew that I was in trouble. The coward had reported what I had done to him. I raised my head up high. Torren had done worse. They had to punish him for the warriors he had injured and killed ‘accidentally.’I bowed my head in greeting to the Alpga, Beta Tim and the elders, acting like Torren did not exist in the room.“There she is. She made mockery of a warrior. This is why she wolves should not be warriors.”Tim scoffed. “All I heard from the story was that she whooped your ass and now you are whining like the brat that you are.”Torren made a fist but he dared not say a word to the Beta. “My Alpha, she should be punished heavily for what she did to Torren. LYRA’s POVIn no time, Alpha Kade’s court began to feel like home. Tim and I barely went home because I was interested in becoming one of the pack warriors. At first glance, one would think that I was doing so to get closer to Alpha Kade. Well, maybe a tiny part of me was doing so but I genuinely want to serve the pack.Initially, I was a bit hesitant, especially after Selene’s threats. I knew she was going to be a major problem but for the last few days, there had been no sign of any form of shenanigans from her.
