"Mom, how can we get near the young duke? Erella is always with him wherever they go," Audrey grumbled to her mother in the courtyard while enviously looking at Erella and Max who were happily talking to each other in the garden. Baroness Paisley didn't say anything and just narrowed her eyes.
It was already been four days passed and their plans all failed. When her daughters tried to get near Max, they were just being treated like air because Max's eyes were always with Erella. Then, her daughters made an effort to get his attention by wearing a sexy gown but all they got was a cold shoulder. They even tried to make a conversation with him by talking about Erella but he only answered them with a cold shoulder or only the nod of his head. Her daughters lost patience for the outcome they got from the young duke so they targeted Erella to ease their irritation.
