Leonidas' POV

I stood on the field, my mind still weighed down by the previous night's turmoil with Casandra. It was a restless night, and I felt the fatigue in my bones. But as the Lycan King, I couldn't afford to show weakness.

Adrian and the Lycan generals gathered around me for a briefing on the troops' deployment. Their expressions were stern and resolute. The time for action was at hand.

"Your Highness, the troops are prepared and ready for deployment," Adrian reported.

I nodded, my thoughts clearing as I focused on the task at hand. "Excellent. We've waited long enough. But before we move, we must wait for Isadora's arrival."

The generals exchanged glances, surprised by my decision. They knew the urgency of the situation, but I had my reasons.

One of the generals spoke up. "But, Your Highness, the troops are ready. Isadora's presence is not necessary for the deployment."

I looked at them with determination. "It is necessary. Isadora is an important part of this mission; she's t
