CHAPTER SIX: Grudge and Desire

“How could we find Bruce?” I racked my head the entire time but I haven’t thought of a place where he possibly gone to.

The sun already set and a cold breeze embraced my skin. We are at the end of August, few days left and it would be ber months. As time passed by the wind was getting colder and colder an indication that December was fast approaching. I hugged myself to lessen the chills I was feeling.

“We could track him down by identifying his grudge or his desire. Humans whose lives were forcefully taken away from them were most likely to have grudges while people who were not ready to die or have regrets develop desires. Grudges and desires are the reasons why souls refuse to leave the world of the living. Resolving of grudges or desires was the only way for them to cross the light.” He sipped on his coffee that appeared earlier from nowhere.

“Bruce was murdered, for sure he has an intense grudge,” Gugu stated.

I snapped my fingers. “Maybe he’s in the clock tower!”
