Chapter 213: Blood Pack

Lorcan’s heart sank as the truth unraveled before him. As his son spoke everything he knew with tears and a scared look in his eyes, Lorcan felt stupid for failing to see through Celia’s fake appearances and see through her deception and lies.

A whirlwind of emotions swept through Lorcan’s being, and slowly a storm raged within him as he grappled with the truth that shattered the foundation of trust he had built with Celia.

Lorcan couldn’t speak. Even though he was also a victim of Celia’s schemes, he still couldn’t help but feel that he was partly responsible for failing to recognize Celia’s deceptive lies.

Lorcan should have known that there was nothing good about Celia when he found out how she pretended to be sick and sucked the blood out of Raven for revenge. He should have left her then and there.

If Celia could play such a magnanimous lie, then it means she is someone who can’t be trusted.
