Lena’s Point Of View

I paced the living room, waiting for Dante to come back, he’d left abruptly without so much as a word. He’d been gone for over four hours now and in that time frame I’d done nothing but worry myself to death and back.

I had even tried to use the home phone to call him twice but I had been sent to his voice mail several times.

I had left a few messages for him to call me back and for him to let me know he was safe but that was three hours ago and until now there was still no reply from him.

I had tried to distract myself by watching a show or something but there was a voice in the back of my head telling me something was wrong.

I dialed his number one more time but just like the other times, I was directed to his voicemail instead.

I let out a frustrated sigh before marching into the kitchen to get myself a bottle of water.

I had only sat down on the sofa for ten minutes when Dante appeared in the door way.

I jumped quickly when I noticed him and rushed to him.
