58: Was it always this awkward?

The queen returned to the chamber and found an empty bed. She thought that the king might be in his office, or maybe he found his action irrational, and now he's reflecting on it.

Suddenly, Aileen felt like exploding again. "Holy crap, why do I have to be flustered over that kiss? We've gone far from just a kiss, so why am I acting like this?... Why is my heart beating fast for the real personality of the king?"

She bit the pillow and shoveled her face on it. She laid flat on the bed, and glued her eyes to the stuffed toy, then slowly fell asleep.

The queen woke up and was still exhausted. She caressed the bed and noticed that Viishaun's space was neat as if no one occupied it. She jumped off the bed and covered her thin nightgown with a royal maroon robe. On her way to the hot spring, she bumped into Viishaun.
