"I’m sorry, Tala." Your safety comes first to me and every member of my pack. I ended the party abruptly. I knew what I saw. That werewolf I just killed There will be many of them.

"Not now, Lowell!" I stopped him before he started his drama. "You brought us here to humiliate us?"

"The party is not yet over; give us a reason for ending it." We are not kids. You can summon and disperse without any reason."

Alpha Lowell has always been on my trail; he might as well get it from me today. "He is right, why did you call it end? Is there something we need to know?"

Why would I say that I was still? I saw something strange. Or I just do not feel like going on with the party.

I dragged Tala off the stage with me. The murmuring among the people was severe, but no one dared question me further.

Tala loosened her grip on me in anger. I didn’t want to hurt her. If I held her harder with the anger I felt, I could break her arm.
