Daciana’s POV

The other day after I left the store where Herveaux was sopping with Auriel, I went to meet Normani. I cared so much about the woman who might take my place in Herveaux’s life.

Today, someone else might take the fall for what I did. It’s not my fault life was so cruel to me.

"Are you chickening out now?" Normani asked me. I let her inside Herveaux’s room. I also helped clean up and dispose of the werewolf, Alpha Herveaux killed.

"The first step has been achieved thanks to you, We need another thing, make sure Alpha Herveaux shows up for the bout tonight!"

"Will Derrick kill him?"

"No, he just wants what rightfully belongs to him." Normani shoved me aside and drew the cover.

"Here that’s your last straw, after this, until you fulfill your end of the bargain, you won’t be getting any antidotes from me," she blurted.

"It’s so bad to see you this way, love was your downfall!" Normani scoffed .
