Chapter 01 - Accident

A black SUV is passing by on the road very quickly.

A man was driving the car while talking on the call.

    "Yes, Jack!"

“Master, where are you?” Jack yelled at the top of his lungs; he is not angry, but there is concern in his voice.

   “I left for construction.”

“Why didn’t you take me with you?” Jack questioned him.

“Are you my girlfriend or something to take you with me all the places?” The boy frowned while taking a U-turn and stroking his hair with his fingers.

“What about your safety?” Jack grunted.

“You are Sebastian Richardson; your enemies from all sides are trying to attack you.” Jack revealed the information while pinching the bridge of his nose, as he is having a headache.

The reply dies on Sebastian's lips as he looks up into the windshield mirror, noticing a car speeding wildly toward him.

"No way!" He tried to turn it over, but the truck shoved it before a second could pass.

“Master, what happened?” Jack yelled at the top of his lungs while hearing the noises from another side.

The car flies up with its back two wheels before breaking down on the ground.

The car turns upside down two times while taking a spin—that makes everything look upside down.

The blood pours from Sebastian’s mouth, and blood bleeds from his head as well.

He gasped while looking at the road through the broken window with the hope of seeing the person who shoved him to his death, but the truck owner doesn’t care to check on him; rather, he turns on the engine and disappears from the place.

Sebastian understands that the accident happened intentionally; it is an attack but not an accident.

His hand is trapped under the seat; he tries to jerk and make himself free, but he fails.

He hissed, exhaling his breath.

There's no one around, and he's lying inside the car helplessly.

He took a shortcut to reach the construction site early but didn't expect to meet an accident.

The things smacking in his mind about his life

"Will I die?" No way!" He mumbled to himself. He built a beautiful career, but will he end up here alone without any trace of information?

He is suffocating; there is not a single wind coming inside to even take a breath. Still, he is trying to get out of the car, but he is stuck inside from all sides.

Everything becomes blurry in front of him—his eyes begin to close—and then a girl runs to him like an angel guardian to help him, blaring the door.

Lol, the story of the man is not going to end but is about to begin just right here and right now.

“Excuse me!” A girl sat on her knees, and the bag wrapped around her shoulder.

The girl looks at a man who is taller with a muscular body, covered in blood, and suffering inside.

“Mister, can you hear me?” She yelled out, and Sebastian tried to look at her, but everything was blurred; he couldn’t see anything in clear vision.

She immediately takes her phone out and dials the ambulance number for help.

“Please come to road number 215; it's an emergency.” She tells them the details and gives them the address.

The girl just called the ambulance, but still decided to do her best to do something to help him.

As she sees the man's toes outside, she uses her full length to try to pull him out. But it's in vain—a man is too heavy for her. Then she scanned the area, letting her eyes slide around, but there was no one here to help—the place is not famous or crowded, so there was not a single person roaming around right now.

"What can I do?" "I can't let a person die in front of me!" She mumbled to herself and folded her sleeves and stretched his arms, pulling him out while using her full strength.

Finally, his head came out, and she gently took him out by grabbing his arms.

“Mister, are you okay?” She placed his head on her lap, sliding his hair aside.

Her heart skipped a beat as her eyes captured him with blood on his face and body—even the blood covered his hair.

He exhaled his breath.

Sebastian was wearing a white shirt, but now it has turned red because of the blood.

He catches a glimpse of her, but his eyes are not helping to capture her face; only her beautiful voice echoed while mesmerizing his ears.

Even she can't see his face in the clean version, because the blood is all over his face.

"No, don’t close your eyes; the ambulance is on the way; nothing will happen to you.” She continually tapped her hands on his cheeks while trying hard to keep the man conscious as he began to lose consciousness.

“Get a grip, hear me?” She shakes him by grabbing both of his shoulders.

He is strong and makes a grip even though his head was kicked with the steering wheel hard.

“Mister, listen to me; nothing will happen to you. I will save you.” She took out her napkin, wrapped it around his head, and tried to stop the blood.

    “My phone?” He mumbled.

“Oh, your phone?” She scans everywhere while looking for his phone, and she finally finds it under the car in broken condition.

"Sorry, mister, your phone is broken.” She revealed the information with a disappointed face.

“Note the number, and call him.” He made a grab and explained.

She takes out her phone quickly and notes the number.

The girl still kept Sebastian's head on her lap, and somewhere he is feeling relaxed.

“God, you are so hurt.” She pouted her lips and felt bad, which made him chuckle softly.

Soon, an ambulance arrives at the scene.

She also boards the ambulance to take care of Sebastian.

“We will reach the hospital very soon, so pull yourself up, mister.” She encouraged him, and honestly, he loved the way she was encouraging him.

"What you need most right now is your confidence; stay tall."

"Don't forget that your parents will be waiting for you at home, so you have to fight for your life." She encouraged while grabbing her fist and making a symbol for "FIGHT."

He scoffed at the words of his parents.

"I don't have parents." All he wanted was to scream, but the girl who is with him is a stranger; she doesn't know him, and he doesn't know her either.

The fact is, the accident met them and pulled them right now and right here, travelling in the same ambulance.

An ambulance arrived at the nearest hospital from the accident scene after twenty minutes.

The girl contacted Jack and informed him, in short, about Sebastian.

She is roaming here and there in front of Sebastian's room while rubbing her thumb on her forehead.

"Ma'am, your details, please.” The nurse handed over the documents.

She writes her name in a document—"Angelina"—and signs in a guardian position as well.

Just then her phone started ringing; she quickly received the call as her eyes captured the name, "Manager Calling."

"Angelina, where the hell are you?" The manager yelled out from another side.

"Sir, I am on the way." She grabbed the phone and talked on the call with one hand while filling out the documents with the other hand.

"Come fast, the interview is going to start." The manager said making her in a hurry.

"How much time do I have?" She asked.

"You have only ten minutes, have you heard me?" The manager sighed.

   "Okay, manager, I am coming."

"Look, I am warning you in the first place; I've had a hard time arranging an appointment, so don't miss the time." The manager warned and hung up the phone.

"Miss, have you signed the document?" The doctor came and asked.

"Yes, doctor. "Please operate on him as soon as possible." Angelina requested.

"Sure, I am going to operate on him. Don't worry. " He encouraged her while making his way to the operating room.

"Miss, go and pay the bill at the receptionist." The nurse said

"But I don't have money." Angelina's reply blocked the doctor's way, he turned back and looked at Angelina.

"Give me a second." She sighed, telling them to give her a break to think about the current situation.

The doctor stares at Angelina—she looks so young with a pretty face.

She wore a pink dress and looked like a baby doll.

Indeed, she is a beautiful woman, but as her dress and other things show - she is not stable financially and can't afford the things.

"Doesn't he have money in his wallet?" Angelina asked while inhaling her breath if there was blood on her face, but it was not hers; it was Sebastian's blood. Of course, he performed first aid before the ambulance arrived.

Holly molly can say—they are strangers but became blood partners.

"No, I checked, but I haven't even found his wallet!" The nurse replied.

She sighed, understanding the situation while rubbing her thumb on her forehead. The wallet must have been dropped in the car, but at the time, Angelina hadn't thought about money but only how to save him.

"What is your relationship with the patient?" The doctor raised the question.

"I saw him on the road unconscious and called the ambulance!" Angelina replied, grabbing the piece of interest.

"I appreciate your help, but you will have to pay the bill; otherwise, the treatment will not start." The doctor said.

"What are you saying?" She grabbed her head and sighed.

"Money is more important to you than patients—can't you see the patient is fighting between life and death?" She yelled at the top of her lungs, pointing at Sebastian inside the room, who is so ill.

"Why are you shouting at him?"

"First, you are a stranger, and this is a car accident case. If the patient dies during treatment, will you take responsibility?" The doctor yelled out, losing his patience.

Holy crap! How can this doctor even think about negative feedback?

"Look, I simply explain to you that in our hospital, the customers pay the bill first, and then treatment will start, and this is the rule of our hospital."

"Doctor!" She sounded weak, hissing against her breath.

"Look, pay the bill for the treatment, or the operation will not go ahead."

She doesn't understand anything.

No way, everyone is crazy after the money!

This is not humanity; let a person die because of money.

What to do now?
