Chapter 4

William immediately left the company after learning that Laura was pregnant. If the child was his, perhaps William would not have hesitated to keep Laura and would have forgotten Michelle.

But that was impossible; William didn't think he had ever had sex with Laura.

Meanwhile, Michelle herself was smiling after what she did made William believe in her. Now, she must continue her plan to make William really leave Laura. In the end, she is the one who will stand side by side with William at the wedding altar and become Mrs. Anderson.

Michelle contacts someone and asks them to find something that will make William hate Laura.

"I must quickly get Laura away from William; if necessary, make my little sister disappear. I hate her! Why does William seem hesitant to divorce Laura?" Michelle asked in her mind.

Michelle had always resisted the idea that William might like and choose Laura over her, despite the disappointment. However, the beautiful model always believed that William would love her. "I don't believe it's William's child; from what I've heard, William has always been cold to Laura. I know better what William is like."

"But... who is the man Laura is close to?" Michelle murmured then. Michelle contacted someone to do something to support her plan to get Laura away from William.

Meanwhile, William drove his car quite fast because he wanted to see Laura immediately. The handsome man couldn't believe that the woman he was living with, whom he thought was a good woman, had turned out to be just a bitch. The grip of his hands on the steering wheel was quite strong, as if the handsome CEO wanted to vent his anger immediately.

Arriving home, William rushed to find his wife.

"LAURA...!" William's shout echoed through the house.

Laura, who was quite surprised to hear William's shout, rushed to see him. "What's the matter? Did you need to yell at me like that?"

William didn't care about Laura's annoyance; he moved closer to her and grabbed her neck with his palm. His eyes reddened, and his jaw hardened, leaving her surprised but also confused. Why did William look so angry at her?

"Who is that guy, who is that guy that you cheated on me with!?"

Laura couldn't answer; her breath caught in her throat as William's grip on her hand was quite hard, as if he wanted to kill her. William released his grip on his wife until Laura started to breathe again and coughed from the pressure of William's hand.

Laura's gaze was cynical; the beautiful woman was annoyed by William's question. "Cheating? Is this marriage real? Aren't I just a replacement wife?"

William choked on Laura's words, but his mind was still focused on her pregnancy. "You're my legal wife, Mrs. Anderson! Do you think you can do anything behind my back to carry someone else's child!?"

Laura laughed sarcastically. The beautiful woman knew that this would happen after Michelle left. Laura checked her pregnancy letter, which turned out to be missing from her desk drawer, and it became clear that this was what had happened: she wanted to make William hate her and think that she was not a good woman.

"Yes, I'm pregnant! My sister told you about it. Then you believe me, divorce me!" Laura said out loud.

Laura didn't want to keep her marriage anymore, seeing William, who believed in Michelle so much, without asking her the truth.

William clenched his hands, seeing Laura's earnestness in wanting to separate from him. "I'll grant your request, Laura. I didn't expect you to be such a bitch! Get away from me; I don't want to see you with your bastard son!"

Laura faltered, holding back her tears as she heard William's words, calling the child in her womb an illegitimate child, not knowing that it was his own.

William left with his anger still boiling over; there was no defense from Laura, making William sure that she had betrayed their marriage.

"I hope you won't regret it!"
