Chapter 9: Gamma Sydric, Fight in the Woods

When evening came, Princess Hana who was bored to death inside her room left. She can't just stay there everyday, she walked through the long hallway before leaving the pack house where her room was located.

The place outside the pack house was brightly lit by torches, it was like a glistering stars. She walked happily through the pack house lawn, her destination was the Treatment House.

She think that it was the best time to visit Gamma Sydric who was good to her. But while walking through the place, she unconsciously heard the members of the pack whispering at each other. She felt weird and don't feel well thinking that everyone was talking about her.

“Princess Hana what are you doing here? You should be taking your rest” Princess Hana suddenly heard someone spoke, she turned around and saw that it was Gamma Sydric.

She was surprised as he was the reason why she left her room, she wanted to pay him a visit only to find out that he was out and was standing right in front of her.

“Why are you here? You should be in the treatment house..” Princess Hana ask in shock staring fixedly at Gamma Sydric while rubbing her eyes.

“Silly girl, I won't be called Gamma if I'm not strong” Gamma Sydric said shaking his head amused by her silliness. “Lets go, I'll take you home now”

“No way! I just left that cell and you're taking me there again?” She stubbornly refused squinting her eyes.

Gamma Sydric could only shook his head seeing Princess Hana's attitude. “Alright, where do you want to go?”

Princess Hana smiled creepily before grabbing Gamma Sydric's hand and left. She plan to take a tour around the pack premises, enjoying her time in peace. She travelled around and bought lot of things, although they were werewolf, their intelligence was still on par with humans.

Their pack and the other pack also has currency with each other, it was a kind of rock that has value and used to buy things. Princess Hana happily enjoyed her time with Gamma Sydric following after her, allowing her to buy anything she wanted.

After several hours passed, the both of them sat in an open space away from the noisy pack. They gaze at the horizon that was vast and enjoying the scenery of the stars above the sky.

“Gamma Sydric, do you think I'll be able to leave the pack and enjoy life outside?” Princess Hana suddenly ask while staring blankly in front of her.

Gamma Sydric look at her from the side, he then diverted his eyes to the horizon in front of him before answering. “Why do you want to go outside? Don't you like it here in our pack?”

Hearing his question, Princess Hana sighed and said weakly. “Its not that I don't like it here, you see I'm wolf less and definitely can't go outside the pack's periphery”

“There's nothing good outside, trust me. What's waiting for you there was loneliness and hardship” Gamma Sydric stated in a matter of factly.

Princess Hana laid on the ground staring at the star's above. “Since childhood, I've been here, I know everyone from the top of their head down their toes. I want to experience something new, something different.

“I know this place is good and safe, and I love to stay here with mom, dad, and the other's, but my heart beats fast asking me to go outside this pack. It was as if something big was waiting for me there” Princess Hana narrated as longing becomes visible in her voice.

Gamma Sydric didn't speak, he just stayed silent. The place where the two was entered a deafening silence.

After some time, Gamma Sydric opened his mouth and ask. “Is that really the case or you just want to escape from your burdens here? I know you're suffering from being wolf less, everyone was talking about you, saying bad things behind your back.

“But Princess Hana listen well, life is full of challenges and you have to face it. People who escape from it will never grow strong, wherever you go, if you face the same thing in there, you'll always do the same as what you did before, escape”

Gamma Sydric sighed after saying those words as if he remembered something. Suddenly, he notice that Princess Hana didn't reply or say anything. He turned to her direction and found out she have already fallen asleep.

“Second Brother, she really is your daughter, she even inherited your dozing off skill” He said to the empty space laughing mockingly to himself.

On place full of tall trees with eire air whispering in the ears of anyone, a group of people could be seen traversing the place. It was dark in this place but they were walking like it was day.

One group was lead by a man with a big build, the pressure he's exuding was suffocating. Behind him was ready to fight warriors numbering approximately 25, in front of them was another group scattered around. They aren't standing with two limbs, instead they are in wolf sniffing the ground and perking their ears.

Those group of wolves was lead by a big one, although all of them looks almost the same, it was still noticable that this certain wolf has an air of superiority in him.

'Halt!'

All of them halted, looking towards the man standing behind them.

'Prepare for battle and don't let your guard down'

A voice was again heard inside their head, it was link transmission, the ability only wolves with higher status can do. Everyone's face turned solemn as they scanned their surroundings, trying their best to search for the enemy but after doing so, they haven't found any trace of them.

The one leading in the front has confusion in his face, but he don't believe that the person who commanded them to halt made a mistake.

They waited for several minutes but still void, there's no sign of any enemies. The man leading in the front line lost his patience and ask, 'Alpha, are you sure there are enemies?'

'Delta Cluxx, when an Alpha state something, never doubt' It was Alpha Broderick who said this through link that made Delta Cluxx silent.
