18. Determined

After meeting Rose, I became more determined to learn about the truth of the past. I must regain justice for my ancestors, and also for myself. To get a clue, I must first find out from the werewolves around me, none other than the maids in the Pack House.

Although they were only maids, they were in fact very high-status. Working in the Pack House, they had the opportunity to capture information that not everyone could access.

Actually, if I could get information from Alpha King, that would be the best. He certainly knew many of the mysteries of the past events, and would certainly know how many werewolves had witnessed the events of the past remained in the werewolf clan.

Obviously, Alpha King wouldn't tell me this, he would even get angry because I didn't listen to him but determined to investigate everything to the end.

If I wanted to know the truth, I had to quietly investigate, not to wake a sleeping dog.
