-Mom- the child ignorant of certain matters walked happily next to his mother -Can you imagine that he is an alpha, or an omega, how he will feel- he exclaimed with enthusiasm and curiosity.

–You'll be a beta– the mother affirmed with her hard voice, as always.

-Mom you can't know that, after my accident there is nothing to indicate that it will be beta. You can't be more flexible on the subject-

-Don't talk back to me,  Aidan . You'll be a beta, I'm sure of that and you'd better, our future depends on today's result-

The boy turned his face to the other side frowning. It was always like that with her mother, it was what he said and nothing more. Why couldn't he be an alpha or an omega, he had heard of the complicated relationships between them, of the ties, of what it would be like to go through heat, experiencing things outside of the majority was more interesting than the basic and routine of betas.

His mother was a beta. Her father didn't know. Natacha  never spoke to her about him and he was forbidden to bring it up. He had lived the last few years watching her sink into bitterness and hatred of those who weren't betas. What would her story be? that was something he would surely take to her grave.

***

Aidan felt his palms bathe in sweat. They had been waiting for more than half an hour for the result that the doctor should bring.

-Mom, what if...?-

-Don't go on- he cut him off abruptly -You don't see how stressed I am, we'd better wait quietly- he tried to soften the atmosphere after seeing the expression on her son's face.

The office door opened five minutes later. A gray-haired man had various papers in his hands including an envelope which he handed to the younger man, which was snatched from his hands.

His mother opened it and a smile lit up her face.

-I knew it, you're a beta, I had no doubt-

Disappointment ran through the smaller boy. He expected another result, now nothing could be done. It was one more of the bunch, of the routine.

***

Aidan opened his heavy eyelids. He let his eyes slowly adjust to the dim light of the…office? What office? The nebula in his mind suddenly blurred.

He sat up so quickly that a heavy dizziness assailed him. What had happened? Where was he? What was he doing? He glanced at the watch on his wrist and narrowed his eyes to focus, 10:15, it hadn't been long.

–What are you?– a male voice near him startled him.

Aidan shuddered and looked up, searching for the source of that deep voice in the dim light of the place. He found his boss sitting in the armchair in front of the sofa where he was lying.

The young man opened his mouth to close it again. His words caught in his throat as he tried to process the question. What?

–Answer me– Dominic demanded seriously, although he already seemed less...aggressive, excited.... His eyes had returned to their light green color and his pheromones seemed to be calmer. There was no trace of heat in this alpha, that was a relief.

-I don't understand your question, president- he began to straighten up rubbing his head, he felt very vulnerable barefoot and in an almost horizontal position. Besides, he noticed that his shirt wasn't exactly right and he quickly closed the two buttons that exposed the beginning of the valley of his flat chest. He realized that the man was following the movement of his fingers with his eyes.

-Why do you smell like an omega? My omega- her teeth almost gnahed emphasizing the last part.

Aidan blinked.

¿Omega?

He let out an involuntary laugh at the phrase and couldn't help but keep laughing. It was the first time that he had been told that and he saw that he had been surrounded by alphas since he entered the company three years ago, in the different company meetings. He also had to admit that he was more sensitive to pheromones than a run-of-the-mill beta, but he chalked it up to the side effects of her accident, but from that to omega there was a pretty good stretch.

His answer seemed to annoy the man who grunted and got up starting to walk towards him.

-Excuse me- the smile completely disappeared from his face and his body tensed, pressing his back against the furniture where he was sitting. He didn't know why but he couldn't move. He simply could only see how that alpha stopped in front of him, tall, big, arrogant. He swallowed dry looking up and forced his lips to move -I don't know where he got that from, I'm a beta, it's impossible that I'm his omega. Basic biology, you should have gone to school-

Dominic clenched his fist, not pleased at all. He was lying. That fragrance present in the minor was stunning him and did not let him reason well. He thought that he could lose control at any moment.

–I'll give you another chance– he leaned in until her face was level with his.

He moved his hand and with the back of his fingers caressed the side of her neck going down until they stopped where that list of buttons that he had fastened earlier began. Her skin was really smooth. He had already felt it before her when he laid him down on the couch though he stopped herself from taking his clothes off. He wasn't a son of a bitch to touch an unconscious body either. He would have time for that later as he writhed under her body.

At that a vein throbbed in the young man's temple.

–Do I have to bring you my medical papers?– Aidan adopted his serious demeanor when he saw that his answer did not convince him. His pulse throbbed under the touch of those fingers.

Medical papers? So he was serious. Dominic was more unsettled. At that moment his cell phone rang and the alpha was reluctant to pick it up, refused to break that atmosphere that he liked so much. But at such insistence he straightened up and pulled it out showing Dulse's name on the screen.

He clicked his tongue. It was not a good time, although that call had made him enter her five senses, what was he trying to do by breaking his own rules?

-Do you need anything else president? - the so-called beta made a sign of getting up. He seemed desperate to get out of there.

Dominic looked him up and down and gave up. He would wait for information from his secretary. Perhaps the doubts would dissolve. Although letting him go was more difficult than expected.

-You can go- he paid attention to his cell phone taking away interest in the matter, he had to keep his sanity. Breaking up his structured life was not in his plans and they would not be at the moment.

Aidan got out as fast as he could and flattened himself against the wall, finally breathing calmly. That had been the most suffocating hour that he had lived so far including the blackout. He checked himself now that his mind was cold and he found everything in his place. At least he hadn't sexually assaulted him. He didn't want to lose his job. He was earning well and comfortable, despite the state of the company. Wages were stable to avoid any internal scandal.

He just hoped it wouldn't start a cycle of sexual harassment. He has just come out of one of labor exploitation for the amount of work he did.

He went down the elevator and picked up his briefcase without checking to see if he had left anything. He needed to get out of there, he needed air.

He got home after paying for a taxi. It felt good to have a familiar roof over her head. He opened the door of her house to find her mother in front of the flat screen TV watching a movie.

-Ma, I arrived-

–That's good, Aidan, overtime again?– He paused and turned to him. Hans has been calling you and you didn't answer your cell phone, he wants you to call him immediately-

–Yes– he snorted. Sometimes her boyfriend, a beta who had been their neighbor since they were children, could be a bit suffocating, especially when he ignored his call or forgot about them. Because yes, he would be beta but he didn't like women, he preferred bigger and harder bodies over his, making him scream and driving him crazy with pleasure.

He lost his appetite just thinking about it. Without another word, he went upstairs and into the bathroom. A cold shower was the best.

He let the water wash away all his worries, or part of them. The image of the president of him came to his mind. He was handsome, he couldn't ignore it. Attractive, with thick lips, semi-wavy blonde hair that had a somewhat long classic cut that caressed the nape of his neck, a height greater than six feet and a structured body that was noticeable over the suit. But until there. That he was attracted to her was something else. And more so when he mentioned the fact that he was his destined mate.

Where had he gotten it? He had given up on that ever since he saw the B for beta on paper. Hoping was useless, you don't change from beta to omega or alpha just because you want to, you were born and it was what it was.

He dried off before flopping onto the bed. He turned off the cell phone, he didn't want any interruptions, especially from her boyfriend, and tomorrow he would talk to him with a cold mind. Dominic's green eyes still haunted him every time he closed his lids.

He reached into his nightstand drawer for a bottle of pills and took his daily dose. Her body relaxed instantly. That medicine worked wonders.

I am starting to think this story had been boy/girl then you have changed it to boy/boy. Please if that is the case work better on the editing. I do like the story as it has the same dynamic as mangas and I love it, but for many readers the wrong pronouns is putting off.
