I enjoyed myself at dinner. I was able to eat with my grandparents and Psy and her parents. We all talked and laughed a bunch. Psy is hilarious. She definitely gets that from her momma. Her name is Tillia, and her father's name is Henry. Tillia is a spitfire who is unashamed and completely herself, as is Henry, but he's much more laid back and a subdued version of Tillia. He's a quiet observer, which is crazy considering he looms over everyone. Psyren is the perfect mix of her parents. She gets her blonde hair from her momma and her curls and piercing blue eyes from her daddy. They both are pretty tan. Tillia is a tall woman, around 5'11, while Henry is 6'7. Tillia has the most gorgeous, light, wavy hair and beautiful brown almond eyes. Henry has curly brownish red hair with icy blue eyes. He's nothing but muscle. They are supposedly a family of Omegas, but the aura and power that radiates from them just don't match with the rest of the omegas I've seen or been around.

  • I was never Human   Wish to forget

I tried to relax myself, but I couldn't keep my hands from trembling. From the call my son took a day or so ago, and the calamity I saw in his eyes at the words being spoken to him. To the cool breeze that drifted all throughout the palace halls, that calls for unwanted memories to occur. All of it. Each wall, nook and cranny held memories that fueled my disdain for the silver that grew on my head and the fear I've carried since seeing Kwen with a full head of it, knowing the danger she'd always face. I ran from the room, feeling suffocated. A face I haven't seen in decades, somehow was able to suck out all the oxygen in the room with a single smile. I wanted to keep this part of me sealed away, never to be recovered. Yet, regardless to how much I've ran, it's never far enough."Grandma."I heard a small voice say behind me. I sighed out, shaky. I turned to see the worried face of Kwen. My beautiful granddaughter. She's grown into such a wonderfully gorgeous woman, and it crushes me t

  • I was never Human   Grandmother

We were escorted inside by guards. Again, I wasn't accustomed to being greeted so professionally. Cersai and the royal family, that was left at my father's pack, were greeted with the formalities used to greet them. My father and brother, along with my grandparents were greeted with the honorifics given to each and every alpha and luna that steps foot onto the royal kingdoms steps. I traveled last up the stairs behind everyone with Brody and Kyle by my side. Steph stood to the front of me and Elijah behind me. Once I made my way up to to the top of the stairs, the guards that waited there bowed low before me, speaking."It is an honor to be in your presence, Chosen Kwenali."I stopped in my tracks, shocked and confused by their words and actions. I was used to being invisible in my father's pack, that being seen felt uncomfortable, and their bows felt like a crime. "They have witnessed you in battle and they have, not only acknowledge your lineage, but they've acknowledged you, Kwen.

  • I was never Human   Here we go

I sat still in the back of the large SUV, on our way to the royal Kingdom. The moment we landed, I felt the shift in the atmosphere. I knew I was expected to go to the royal pack, but the urgency I felt was new. Steph tackled me once he saw me and refused to let me go. Danny had to pry his hands from around me, so that everyone else could get a turn in giving me some love. Cersai walked up to me, slow and deliberate, unsure if I wanted his advancement. I looked at him, considering his movement, when suddenly his entire demeanor changed. His eyes hovered over me, and he pulled me into his body. Everything went silent when Elijah stood behind me with his family. Kera had to pull up quick and diffuse the situation. She introduced Elijah as her mate before I introduced him as my beta. The silence that fell over everyone was palpable. Elijah was the tallest of them all and built to hold all of that brute strength that came with it. Yet, he was gentle and kind and remained humbled. My fathe

  • I was never Human   Grief favors no one

Stephanie's POV:I stood in the palace halls that stretched beyond what my eyes could see. Through the floor to ceiling windows, I watched the rain fall against them. A ragged breathe left from my body as I shuddered from memories. I haven't been to this place since I've had to do the unthinkable. My chest ached with the thought. I've distanced myself from everything in my past. Now I'm told a great grandchild I've never met, along with his daughter, who's my great, great grandchild, are in danger. Again, I am pulled into the mix, having to stand in between a war I wanted no part of. But as much as I am aggrieved, I couldn't deny the want to see my family once more. I wanted to see the son of Torista. I wanted to see his daughter. What kind of people are they? I know, at least, the daughter had to be someone special for the King to be so enthused by her. Marcus didn't say much about either one, yet his eyes spoke what his mouth didn't. He looked stressed, and I know my family is why h

  • I was never Human   What are you?

King Marcus's POV:Back in the states: In the Royal Kingdom...My shoes clacked on the marble floors, as I made my way to the throne room. I was meeting with an old acquaintance that I haven't seen for some time. It took about a week before I was able to reach her. She hasn't shown her face here since the tragedy that happened years ago. She's been haunted by what she had to do for the safety of others. In that protection, she had to break her own heart. I kept her appearance, quiet, to only those who needed to know. My beta, Andrew and commander, Barrett, stood beside my throne on either side of me, awaiting my presence. I nodded to the both of them and they bowed in respect. I sat on my throne and waited for the woman to show up."How long has it been?"Andrew asked, standing to my right."48 years, give or take."I said, sadden at the reality."Damn. And she stayed away all this time?"Barrett questioned. I nodded."She couldn't live with the guilt. She exiled herself. My grandfath

  • I was never Human   Principessa Kwenali

I didn't know how I should feel about any of this. On one hand, I felt like my life kept unraveling, so anyone with any information that could potentially help me figure it out, was a welcome change. On the other hand, I felt like I was prying into my grandma's life without her permission. We talk about a lot of things. Her mother, was never one of them. My curiosity definitely got the better of me. We all sat waiting for her to tell her story. She took a deep breath in."I never thought I would be speaking to one of the great grandchildren of Loren. I haven't seen your grandmother since she was removed from our pack and sent to live at the royal Kingdom. By that time, I was already mated to my mate and had children as well. I was a little homesick and decided to visit my parents and siblings. Risenmoon pack is the most known for their Chosens. It was during that visit where I learned of what happened. I'm not too sure of your knowledge of history on your father's side, especially con
