CHAPTER TWO

Immediately I entered the school and went straight to my locker to take my English textbook, my locker had a beautiful Justin Bieber wallpaper, a Bieber bear that was hung in the locker, I was about to close my locker when I heard a voice which almost scared me.

it was Edward, Edward is a friend wait no, he is not a friend he’s just someone that keeps bothering me.

"Hi Tori," Edward said.

Edward is fair in complexion, he is tall perhaps about five feet five inches, he has blue ocean eyes, peach-colored lips, dark brown hair, thin eyebrows and he is a bit muscular

"What the hell, Edward you scared me," I said.

"I didn't mean to scare you," he said

"Whatever I have to go to class," I said while closing my locker.

"Come on class won’t start till 9 am and it's just 8:49 am," he said after he checked his watch.

“Okay, then what do you want," I said.

“I have two things to say, first II wanna say you look hot, very hot ” he whispered as he stared at me

“Are you okay? Do have any idea what you just said”

“Come on, I thought you loved compliments”

“I do but if it’s coming from you then I’m better off without any” I said as I turned around to enter the class

“Come on Tori, I’m sorry okay, you don’t have to go just hear me out," he said after he blocked the class entrance

“I’m all ears, what do you wanna say”

”I have made a great plan for us this summer" he said .

“Us!”

“Yes, we are gonna have a lot of fun, trust me" he said excitedly

I didn’t say a word to him but my facial expression gave him a response

“But if you have better plans you can tell me"

“Come on what do you have in mind for this summer," he asked

"Haven’t decided yet and anyways that’s none of your business" I said rudely before I entered the classroom.

"Hey, Liv," I said after I took a sit next to her.

Liv is fair in complexion, she has blue eyes, a small pink heart-shaped mouth, long eyelashes, and she has a slim generic shaped body.

"Hey Vickie, love that dress" she said

“Thanks”

“I saw you talking to Edward," she said

"Can you believe he made summer plans for me and him?" I said

“No way, are you serious? Wow, he’s such an asshole," she said

“And he was like you look hot Tori, very hot" I mimicked him

Liv started laughing as she tapped her table "Are you serious, he is a big asshole”

“You can keep saying that, and worse than that is he thought he was complimenting me like seriously as if I didn’t look at my reflection in the mirror before coming to school"

“Okay, I gotta say this, I soo love your self-love and confidence"

“Yeah thanks”

“You looked hot Tori, very hot" she as mimicking Edward

“Stop, you’re making me uncomfortable,” I said as I began laughing.

“Anyways forget about him, so tell me what the plan for summer"

“I have no plans yet, but I am organizing a cocktail party for the whole class," she said

“Can’t come” I said

“Let me guess your parents are gonna have a party"

“You guessed that right and the worst part is they are gonna make me join their company after high school,” I said

“No way"

“They are announcing it today” I said

“Do you wanna join the company?” she asked curiously

“Of course not, I didn’t even know about it till today”

“But what if you don’t attend the party, no you, no announcement ” she said

“Did you forget what happened last time when I did that besides I don’t wanna spoil my mood”

“I feel very sorry for you baby girl. What about college are you gonna attend college”

“I have no idea, my parents are killing me right now and college, well I’m still confused about it" I whispered

“I am finally done with it babe" Lyon said interrupting our conversation as he gave Liv a sheet of paper.

“Aww you drew a picture of my hair," she said sweetly

“Take a look Vickkie" she said handing over the drawing to me

“Well done Lyon it is lovely”

“Of course it is" he said while tapping his shoulder

“What were you guys talking about," he asked

“It’s girl’s stuff you won’t understand” Liv said jokingly

“Okay if you say so, I was thinking why don’t we all go for summer vacation” he said

“Perfect idea babe" Liv said

“The idea is really amazing but where are we going" I asked

“Santorini," he said

Liv and I looked at each other before we spoke in unison

“Santorini for the summer. Hell yes" we said

“I can't wait, babe, it is gonna be our first vacation together," Liv said.

“It is gonna be special” he said

“Alright ladies since it’s a yes from both of you, I’m gonna inform mick about the plans," Lyon said while bringing out his phone

“And I will inform Nora about it," I said

“Who’s Nora" Lyon asked

“My best friend dummy” I said jokingly

“I know, just kidding”

“Yeah whatever”

Mick is friends with Nora, she introduced me to him when she came for my sixteenth birthday since then we become good friends.

I am so happy and at the same time sad, I feel happy I’m gonna be away from my parents for so days and sad because this is the first and maybe the last vacation we are having before we all go separate ways, it so sad we all got admission from different colleges.

We’ve been planning this vacation for years and it’s finally happening, I told mom about the vacation, not that she cares but she has to know at least before she ruins my plan with another stupid excuse of hers.

I was lost in my thoughts when the teacher walked

“Good morning class," he said immediately as she walked in

“Good morning Mr. Jumia” we all said in unison

Mr. Jumia is fair in complexion, he is a bit chubby, his hair and beard are black, and he has a dark brown eye and a broad-shaped face.

“Bring out your English textbook and turn to page fourteen"

We did as he said before the principal called him to her office.
