ILLUSION Chapter twelve
Mick POV I entered the bathroom to take a shower. I hate having a cold, a stupid headache and running nose are just too much to handle. After taking a shower, I wore a blue plain shirt and black shorts. I looked at my hair which was very messy, I ruffly combed it and applied hair cream on it. Shortly after I was done, I entered the living room and turned on the Tv. I kept blowing my nose as I was watching the movie. “Turn around lady, he’s behind you,” I said to myself Watching Indian movies can be so annoying sometimes, “O lord, I can’t watch this crap,” I said as I changed the channel “This looks better.” I mumbled I was watching the movie when my stomach started rumbling “I need to eat something.” I thought I paused the movie and walked into the kitchen to get something. We arrived back home at about three o’clock, I was about to knock on the door when I realized the door was already open “Why did Mick leave the door open,” I thought When we entered the house and sat on the living couch, Liv and Lyon were cuddling each other, and Nora was texting on her phone. “I’m gonna get a drink, does anyone need anything?” “Yeah I will take a soda,” Nora said “I want an apple juice box,” Liv said “Babe you want a juice box?” “Yeah apple flavored just boxes are the best, you should try it sometime” “Vickie if you don’t mind can you make the juice box two” “Yeah whatever,” I said before I exited the room. Everywhere was dark and silent, I don’t remember how I got here or what happened to me. I couldn’t see anything as it was extremely dark, I decided to try and look for the switch as I walked I stepped on something huge which made me fall, my leg hurt badly as I screamed in pain. I tried to stand up but couldn’t. “Help! anyone, please help me” I cried out but unfortunately, no one came to my aid. I held my leg tightly as I realized it was bleeding “Please help me” I shouted again. No one came to my aid but I could hear someone laughing bizarrely, I was frightened and helpless as I couldn't stand up or do anything, the laughter was coming closer and closer, I was terrified when the laughter became louder I tried to run but I couldn't, I felt someone’s hands behind rubbing my head in a weird way when a strange tone began playing my head began to hurt as if it was burning. The music was loud when abruptly the lights went on, the laughter stopped and the music ceased as I turned around

We were sited on the couch when Lyon’s phone rang, he looked directly at it as his eyes widened “It’s Melody” he announced “Don’t answer the call” “Just take the call” Liv said “No don’t” “We have to know what she wants to say, maybe it’s about Mick” Liv uttered “Or maybe it’s not” “Guys!” he shouted “Let’s just hear her out, I’m gonna put it on speaker” “Hello” he said immediately as he answered the call. “Hello, Melody are you there” “Yes, I just called to inform you that Mick was found, so you have nothing to worry about. You will soon meet him” “Really! That’s great nice, are you on your way here” “Hello” “She hung up the call,” he said “Who cares, Mick is found” Nora said “Babe I told you, he will be alright” Liv said before she hugged Lyon “You don’t look as happy as we are, what’s the matter” "I’m just finding it difficult to agree with Melody, I mean yes maybe Mick was found but she could have at least told us how he was found but instead she hung up on us” T

I woke up to a scream, for a moment I thought it was Liv because she usually screams excitedly when Lyon surprises her with an incredible gift or sends her a heartwarming love letter. I turned around and looked at liv who was sound asleep. “Who’s scream was that” I thought I slowly walked to the open room door “I don’t remember leaving the room door open” I peeked at the corridor, it was dark which made it very hard for me to see anything, I decided to go back to sleep because the scream stopped, I closed the door and lay on the bed when a strong wind blew which made the door open, for a moment I was frightened because after the door opened the scream continued “Help” a voice said coming from the corridor “Mick is that you?” I instantly said after I recognized the voice “Help” “Mick,” I said as I got up from bed I walked carefully calling out Mick’s name, the corridor was extremely dark, I tried to find the switch but unfortunately, I couldn’t. “Help!” he screamed again I ke

I was frightened when I saw a dead body in the well, I instantly stepped backward "No! No! No! It can’t be, I’m overthinking again, that’s not true, I’m probably imagining things again" I thought My heart was racing fast as many questions were raised in my mind "Is that Mick, no, no It can’t be, Melody said she’s on her way with Mick" I whispered to myself I looked down at the well again, the body was there but the face was extremely damaged which made it hard for me to recognize who’s body is. NORA POV I woke up feeling very thirsty, I turned around and looked at Vickie who was sound asleep. I stretched my arms a little bit before I stood up and took the bottled water which was kept on the table "Oh lord, who drank my water," I thought I rubbed my eyes with the back of my hand before I entered the kitchen. I was about to grab a bottle of water when I felt someone’s presence behind me, I turned back but there was no one. I took the bottle and poured a certain amount of water into the glass. I was about to drink the water when I felt a tap on my shoulder, I instantly turned back but there was no one behind me "What’s happening," I thought I turned around to drink the water when I saw the music box on the kitchen counter "How did it come here" I took the box and was about to keep it in the pantry when I heard someone’s footstep coming from the living room "Might be Vickie" I thought After I kept the music box in the pantry I drank water before I entered the living room
