"Isn't she showing off her body on purpose?" said the curly-haired man sitting around the table with his three friends while staring at the back of the girl in the blue apron who was struggling with her toast.

"Don't say that, she can hear you," said the blond-haired man.

"She's just a weird, arrogant girl." The stocky man chimed in.

"You're just mad because she wouldn't fight you yesterday," the tall man said to the curly-haired man.

Enne could hear the whispers clearly, a bunch of boys her age had deliberately come to her mother's bakery and gossiped there, yes... gossiped about her.

Without saying anything, Enne had already walked over to serve four cups of toast to the four boys and intended to return to the kitchen.

"Hey Aquila." The curly-haired man said Enne's first name.

Enne turned her head, she didn't say anything but looked back at the man.

The curly-haired man smiled mockingly. "What's the rush? You can stay with us for a while," the man said with a chuckle.

  • IM THE LUNA   Chapter 94. Under the Bright Light || END

The night sky was cloudless, filled with millions of twinkling stars as if witnessing the end of a long journey. The river flowed clear under the moonlight, the forests of the Dark Forest echoed softly with the sounds of the night: life slowly getting back on track after years in the shadow of battle. On the pack's main field, a small ceremony was taking place.Altair stood tall in the center of the circle of pack members. At his side was Enne, dressed in silvery white robes that shimmered like the moonlight itself. Around them, Stella, Andhara, and Nathalie-now fully recovered-stood ready to watch.Today was the day of Altair and Enne's official appointment as full leaders of the Dark Forest, no longer just the underrated Luna. They were the heart and soul of this place.Lyra might be gone, but her legacy lived on in this decision.Stella stepped forward and raised her hand, holding a necklace symbolizing the pack's leadership-a stone in the shape of an intertwined crescent moon and

  • IM THE LUNA   Chapter 93. Decision Under the Aquila Constellation

The night wind blew softly, carrying the scent of wet leaves and the remnants of smoke from the battle that had ended. The sky above them was now clear, decorated only with twinkling stars that seemed closer than usual. Among the sea of stars, the constellation Aquila shone brightly, as if a silent witness to the long journey they had taken. In the main courtyard of the Dark Forest headquarters, the pack members gathered in silence. They had just held a final tribute ceremony for Lyra, the Elder who had been the pillar of their strength. As the crowd began to die down, Altair and Enne walked away to the edge of the forest, where only the stars kept them company. There were no words between them for a while. They just enjoyed the silence, understanding the gravity of the decision they had just made."Destiny feels scary sometimes," Enne said finally, her voice almost a whisper.Altair smiled slightly. "Destiny is indeed frightening. But with you, I am not afraid."Enne stopped walking,

  • IM THE LUNA   Chapter 92. A Costly Victory

The war was over. However, the price was much higher than they imagined. In the middle of the deserted field, the remnants of the battle still lay. Blood splattered on the ground, bodies lay, mostly of their enemies, but not a few of their allies. The destruction was not only visible on the outside, but also went deep into their hearts, a place that was harder to recover from.Lyra was lying on the ground. Her frail body was no longer able to bear the weight of the world. Her eyes-which had always held firmness, love, and wisdom-began to fade, like twilight that could not withstand the night. Blood flowed from the corner of her lips, faint, but enough to show that her time was running out. The wolfsbane poison she had once fought with all her might was now slowly taking the rest of her life, creeping into her veins like a dark shadow that could not be removed."Grandmother..." Enne's voice broke. He knelt beside Lyra's body, grasping an old hand that was now cold, full of veins, and t

  • IM THE LUNA   Chapter 91. The Battle of the Three Bloods

Thunder boomed in the sky, splitting the dense clouds as if to signal the beginning of the end.In the center of the devastated battlefield, Altair, Enne, and Andhara stood side by side, their bodies wounded, blood flowing, yet their eyes shining with determination. Before them, stood a tall man with silver-gray hair braided back. His golden eyes glittered in the dark, radiating a cold hatred. Beneath the black armor layered with wolfsbane and dark silver, great power pulsed wildly.Algebar De Rigel.Orion's new leader.Stronger, more dangerous, and more ruthless than any enemy they had ever faced. He raised his hand, and the ground beneath their feet trembled. Waves of poison energy spread, making the air feel heavy and suffocating."You think you can stop us?" His voice was deep, echoing throughout the terrain. "You, three half-human, half-beast creatures, dare to go against the will of the world?"Altair took a step forward, his teeth clenched tightly."Then, we will show you... wh

  • IM THE LUNA   Chapter 90. Sacrifice

Smoke and dust hung heavy in the air, blackening the twilight sky that was beginning to turn blood red. Roars, shouts, and clashes of weapons echoed from every direction. The once fertile land was now stained with blood and embers.Amidst the chaos, Nathalie ran, her breathing heavy, following the sound of crying that sliced through the air.A small human child - apparently no more than six years old - was trapped in the ruins of a half-burned wooden house. Around them, Orion creatures, masked and armed, stalked with bloodthirsty eyes.Without hesitation, Nathalie darted. She swung her body, deflecting poisoned arrows with her own arm, then lunged at one of the enemies who tried to close in. The boy cowered, his tiny body shaking with fear."I'm here," Nathalie whispered, kneeling quickly, pulling the wooden debris from over the child's body. But a sharp swishing sound from behind made her turn her head-slowly.A glowing arrow, coated in wolfsbane venom, pierced the side of her stomac

  • IM THE LUNA   Chapter 89. The Sky Splits

That Night, When Everything Shattered ....The moon hangs high, but its rays appear somber behind the smoke and flames. The land of the Dark Forest shook with the sounds of explosions, wolf roars, and the screeches of creatures that shouldn't be in this world. That night was supposed to be a moment of victory. But who would have thought-betrayal and Algebar's cunning strategy turned everything upside down.In the center of the fortress within the pack territory, Lyra stood in the central courtyard. Her old body was erect despite her labored breathing. Her eyes looked up at the red night sky, her face calm yet alert. A group of children, women, and healers who had not joined the battle were hiding under the protection of the moon magic she had created."Don't panic," Lyra's voice was soft yet firm, "you stay here. The power of the moon will protect us."But she knew... the protection was wearing thin. She could feel it-a change in energy coming from the east. Someone had opened a crack
