Ricky
"I-Is that a costume?"
Adam stuttered as he tried to convince himself, partly shocked by what he just saw, and partly amused by the sudden thoughts of an early costume wearing attempt.
On the other hand, Ricky was speechless. It became worse when his camouflaged blue eyes scraped away it's tinge, leaving a bright glow of golden eyes in the dark evening atmosphere. Ricky slightly flinched when he felt a strong surge of something cold, yet prickly and murderous at the same time coming from the skeleton soldiers which was now inching closer.
KRR!! KRR!!
As it's armor clad white figure raised it's bone arms, suddenly, it threw the sword that was hanging on it's hands. Things were seriously not a joke anymore when the flying sword were SERIOUSLY and ALMOST killed Adam by heading straight towards his head.
However, before it could split his head open, Ricky quickly parried the sword's direction with his hand and it flew through Adam, passing
Raon/HoranIn the dark, swirling clouds sky, above the closed otherworld portal, a huge glowing pentagram formed. Shortly after, people rained down from it, them clad with armor while being led by Raon, Horan and Rukaiya. The three of them unseathed their weapons to prepare for any ambush. However, except for the unsurmountable amount of dead bodies lying around, the ground surrounding the portal was deserted, no ogres or undeads were spotted. After the whole troop landed safely, they immediately started surveying the perimeter."What the, there's no one here."Rukaiya rested her hands on her hips while she pouted."Strange. I swear both of me and Raon saw a big number of undeads here. Had them all gone somewhere?"Horan ordered the troop to gather on a wide area while waiting for the espionage group to inspect around.Time went by, but they still haven't detected any enemies. It was as if no dark elves ever resided in there, and as i
NoelAs far as he knew, Noel had never imagined himself being in an unfamiliar location, different from what he thought. Did his spell got interrupted? Or has his Mana reserve depleted?Noel shook his head gently while his sparkly hair flowed from the gust of sea wind. The latter choice sounded ridiculous, as he was always with Ricky, who didn't know how to switch off his aura from grappling towards Noel. Luckily, this Sol's partner was none other than the Fairy King himself, so he knew when he should allow those limitless Mana flow to seep inside his body and when to block it.Nevertheless, he should really be thinking of teaching Ricky about Mana control, before he transgressed again. Judging from all that happened, time was not on his side anymore. His eyes perked when he saw a shiny, sun reflected being standing not far from him."Hey."Noel greeted first, forming a smile on his lips towards his beloved childhood friend, Valheiter. That
NoelIt was never a surprise for him if even the guards of the underworld to be involved. After all, undead creatures were supposed to be under their jurisdiction."Greetings, your majesty."The shadowy being stepped forward after it fully formed. Upon seeing Ricky laying down on Noel's lap while his eyes almost bulging from it's socket—staring at him, his eyes narrowed into a thin, purple line."Is this your Sol?" He gave Ricky a judging look."Yes, he is." Noel answered. He scoffed upon the answer."He looked stupid."Noel didn't deny what he said. In addition of being reckless, Ricky is also somewhat stupid. He chuckled."Did something happen?"Ricky switched his glances from Noel to that intimidating, shadowy creature that came out of nowhere. Since earlier, the both of them were conversing in the monster language, leaving Ricky clueless of the situation."Ricky, this is Kairos, guardian of the un
Noel"This is the second portal to be closed."Kairos said, swinging his great sword into the air and it disappeared.Noel inspected the university ground to make sure no undead escaped, at least not inside the university. Again, he smelled a whiff of rotten scent coming in many directions."This won't do it."His veins popped out once more. Beneath his feet, his black shadow turned white, and it pierced upwards before splitting differently, forming numerous amount of white shadow soldier. aside from the golden lining on their heads and emitting from their eyes, they were completely white.“Find a black portal, dark aura emanating like this one and close it. Go.”Instantly, they all separated.“That was convenient. Eases my work on stopping the monsters flow into this mundane world.”Noel chuckled.“It is still too early to do that. I only gave the soldiers enough mana to close only t
RickyAfter somehow managed to reach Noel’s house, he entered the unlocked door. Looking around, the surroundings were quiet.Ricky leaned on the sofa in the living room, while staring blankly at the wooden ceiling. In his mind, scenes of what happened earlier replayed for countless of times. It was as if reminding him that his life had changed the moment he became the Sol of a person named Noel Kieran, or to be more precise, Oberon. He remembered it vividly, how Noel emitted such powerful aura when he destroyed the undead army in a single blow. He somehow managed to assert dominance, while also fully expressing his beauty in the moonlit background. Seeing him like that made Ricky wonder if he was able to be like him or not.He also wanted to protect Noel from any harm, not wanting to be the one to always be protected. But how can he became like that? His eyes darted in
NoelIt was the morning right after the big incident involving the whole world. It was supposed to be a big incident, but no news were stating about it and nothing showed up in social media regarding that issue. Most importantly, the neighborhood was too quiet, no damages, no casualties, and not even… sadness?Ricky frowned while folding the laundries.“Ricky, if you frown like that, the house spirits will get scared.” Noel stepped near while holding a laundry basket in his arms.“Oh, sorry.”Ricky apologized to some house spirits that were trembling in fear of him. Noel sat on the carpeted floor near him and took out the laundries to fold. Then they both went silent except for the whirring sound of the washing machine inside the laundry room.“Noel.” Ricky called and Noel glanced at him. “Am I that scary?”Noel narrowed his eyes. “What’s with this sudden question?&rdq
Noel/RickyEvening quickly came by, yet they both still lazed around on the couch.Closing the novel book he read, Ricky apouted, “As I thought, you should really move into-”“I won’t.” Noel immediately cut in.The both of them sat still.“Ricky, there is something I would like to tell you.” Noel spoke after a long while of silence.“What is it?” Ricky who was leaning against the sofa now sat straight as he gave his full attention to Noel. Noel also sat straight, slightly hesitating his decision.“I...” He paused. “It is time for me to go, to leave earth and venture into a new world.”Ricky froze. In one moment, he looked as if he really wanted to oppose the idea; with him frowning and stuff, yet in the next moment, he fell into a deep thought.“…Go on then.”Noel blinked his eyes in confusion. For more solid ev
NoelNoel heaved a deep sigh after he opened his eyes.“Hm? Where is he?”He darted his eyes around, searching for Ricky.“Hey.” A voice said, and he turned around.Ricky was sitting on a fallen tree trunk while crossing his legs lazily. He was holding his smartphone that had flashlight turned on and on his lap, the stacks of books were placed with one book on the top being opened by Ricky.“Took you long enough. I had already finished five chapters into the book. I even have to use a flashlight because the forest it too dark!”Ricky ranted. Noel was only able to laugh. He understood where Ricky was coming from, being left alone in a scary looking place and all.“I’m sorry.” Noel saidRicky sighed and ruffled his hair.He then stood up and brushed any dirt and dust from his clothes, before walking near Noel and handed him the three books.“Here.
