Chapter thirty one

I could understand what she was trying to say.

She wanted me to find a mate and be married, so Raemon would give up on planning to still hurt me?

But I didn’t have the chance to tell her that, that could never hold him back if he meant to do something.

I could hear footsteps and saying anything from the kitchen could easily be heard.

I didn’t want to take risks and just let it be.

We walked out and it was both betas standing there.

I walked towards Josh so I didn’t have to shout. “Can I go back now?”

“That’s his call. You have to wait till he’s here or till he tells me what to do.” Josh muttered like he was forced to.

Looking at me like I did something bad to him.

I nodded, accepting not to get annoyed by that when that’s the normal I knew with him. Way before he started acting weird like he now suddenly sees me.

I walked out of the dining room to where we sat yesterday.

Now I wish I had a phone so I could busy myself chatting with Christine and Xavier.

I’ve been searching and even took mum’s advice of searching where she thought I wouldn’t search but I still couldn’t find her.
