LOGINRowen's POV
The moment I entered the room, everyone froze. Each of them stared at me as though they'd seen a ghost. I took the empty seat beside a teenage girl who was gawking at me with her mouth hanging open. I smiled at her, and she blushed. She must be Ruby Regnald—my uncle's daughter. Almost everyone was present. I knew their names, age, relationship and positions of everyone seated there. They were my biological family—the Regnalds. At the head of the table, a blond man with piercing blue eyes had his gaze fixed on me. He was my father. Beside him sat his twin brother, Uncle Richard. They looked exactly as they had eleven years ago. "Mr. Rowen. Glad to have you back." "Haha. Mr..." I shook his hand. "Daniel. Daniel Krush." I nodded and sat down. "Now that he is here, I'll begin," Mr. Krush said, addressing the rest of the family. He pulled out the blue file containing my grandfather's notarized will and began to read. I had seen that exact file a few weeks ago. In fact, I had already read its contents. My late grandfather had transferred all his shares and fortune into my name. That was the only reason I'd been asked to return home after eleven years. Eleven years of living like a fugitive in a foreign country. My father's wife looked as though she was about to cry the moment Mr. Krush finished reading the will. She had never expected this. None of them had. Including me. Who would've imagined that the abandoned grandson of the prestigious Regnald family—the one banished eleven years ago for allegedly murdering his own mother—would one day be named the heir and successor to the TRX Group? What an irony. It took every ounce of my self-control not to burst into laughter as I watched the horrified expressions on their faces. A few of them seemed unbothered by the news and began leaving the hall one after another. I stood up as well. I was done here. The only reason I'd come in the first place was because my grandfather had begged me to. He allowed me—a murderer, back into his family, knowing fully well, that i would take revenge and ruin their lives. A few months before his death, the rickety old man had shown up at my company in Italy. He'd come with Mr. Krush, trying to make me sign some papers. I'd refused to see him, but he refused to leave. Instead, he waited outside until late that night. "Rowen. Please... come back home," he'd pleaded. "Yes. I knew you were innocent, but I did it to protect the family." I'd grabbed him by the collar, my bloodshot eyes blazing with rage. "What about me?! Was I just a stray cat to you?!" After he left that night, I'd suffered a terrible panic attack—the kind that left me drowning in emotional terror for weeks. How I'd spent years wandering the streets of Italy barefoot, struggling to build a life from scratch. The blood I'd spilled. The lives I'd trampled on... All just to become the man I am today. Not one of them. Not a single Regnald deserved to be happy, let alone forgiven. I'd hunt down everyone who had played a part in destroying the life of a nineteen-year-old boy. My father, who had looked the other way when Grandfather banished me to a foreign land. My uncle, who'd been entrusted with my well-being and education, yet never reached out even once. They had abandoned me on the streets of a quiet Italian town and left me to fend for myself. A quiet chuckle escaped me as I watched a few of them arguing at the far end of the hall. I mean, my sly grandfather had betrayed them, probably ruining some of their life plans. The meeting had ended earlier than expected, while some of the extended family exchanged pleasantries, I leaned against a pillar and observed them. My secretary should be here soon. I'd have to wait for him, since I couldn't drive in the rain. The downpour was growing heavier with every second. I hated the rain. From the corner of my eye, I noticed someone staring at me. A young, handsome man with jet-black hair, neatly styled in place. The moment our eyes met, he looked away nervously. The corner of my mouth curled into a lazy smirk. I was certain he was the first person in the room to recognize me. Russell Regnald—my father's adopted son. If my father had wanted a replacement so badly, he could've at least chosen a blond one. Right now, Russell looked painfully out of place. “Rowen is finally home haha…” my uncle called out from afar, he and his family made his way towards me. “Hello Uncle Richard.” I greeted him. “look at how much you've grown!” I smiled and shook hands with his wife and daughter. “Ruby, say Hi to your cousin,” he probed her. “Hello. Mr…Rowen.” she said shyly, her face flushed. “Hi Ruby. you can just call me Rowen, like your uncle.” I lowered my face and smiled at her. Her father laughed and said something to his wife who was clearly uncomfortable, but had no choice but to put up a fake smile. “Are you joining us for dinner tonight?” “No. uncle,” I answered politely, with my hands behind my back. “Certainly you should. That's where you get to meet everyone informally...” he rambled on. “ Have you met your brother, Russell?” He held out his hand and called him. I scoffed inwardly as I watched him make his way towards us. “Meet your brother, Rowen.” I turned to him. That lazy smirk returned to my face, without pressure. “Hi, Mr Russell. Or rather, Jake?”I spotted Sonya's blue Mercedes C300 from afar and waited for her to pull up into the parking space in front of her department block you.She got out of the car, picked up her purse, and headed toward the entrance.Wearing a deep blue halter-neck dress that stopped just above her pretty knees."Sonya!"I grabbed her right hand, stopping her from getting any further away from me.She flinched and turned. When she saw it was me, her expression softened, and a small smile appeared on her lips."Hi, Percy. I didn't see you there," she said, taking my hand."Yeah. You didn't," I replied flatly. Her smile faded when I didn't return it.A few seconds of silence passed between us.We just stared at each other."Why are you avoiding me?""I'm not avoiding you.""Then what are you trying to do?"As much as I wanted her to say something meaningful, deep down, I knew there was nothing she could say to excuse the fact that she was cheating on me.She lied to me.Ignored me.Made me do something I'
“It seems like you already met him, Rowen.” My uncle glanced between us. “Yeah. sort of…” I confirmed. Tapping my right foot slowly. Russell was sweating uncomfortablely, as he shook hands with me. His eyes darted back and forth, avoiding my gaze. It was oddly satisfying to watch. My uncle soon excused himself from the conversation. His petite wife hurried after him like a child trying to keep up. She had a few wrinkles and looked much older than her husband. The last time I saw her was on the day I departed for Italy. She had looked at me with pity, yet didn't say a word. Grandfather had abandoned me. My grieving father wouldn't even look at me twice. She was the only one who tried to treat me right, and offered to see me off to the airport. But then, she acted like she was scared. As if some one might scold her for doing it. A total hypocrite. I turned to speak to Russell, but he'd already disappeared…Leaving me alone with my cousin, Ruby. She was st

PERCY'S POV. I ran straight towards the hotel’s entrance door, without glancing back, not even for a second. The security men watched me as I whisked past them, struggling to catch my breath. One of them turned to look at me for a while before averting his gaze. He seem to be concerned about me but changed his mind. Of course, my clothes were disheveled and I was running like I saw a ghost in broad daylight. I stopped running once I was outside the hotel. Something prompted me to go back and beg those security men for help, but I waved aside the dumb thought. What could they possibly do? I mean, the police didn't even take me seriously. Even worse, what if they work for him? “Ahh shit!” I groaned from the frustration. The street was oddly quiet, except for a few luxurious cars coming out from the parking lot. At this point, can I even call it an assault when I willingly walked in there last night? I really don't want to sleep with him again. Last night left
ROWEN'S POV. Now, let's see, what kind of face would he make? I eyed him intently, as I watched the colour drain from his pretty face within seconds. It really baffles me how fast his expressions change. A few minutes ago he was embarrassed, then he became angry. Now he's… shocked? “No… No way…” his voice was low as he gripped the invitation card tightly. What a disappointment. I thought he would raise his voice or even try to hit me. Maybe this isn’t enough to reel him into the net. But he did come here for her, so he should be willing to go this far though. I mean, people do anything for their loved ones right? “Why… Why are you doing this to me?” he sobbed. I tilted my head a bit, watching the tears glisten in his glassy eyes before they streamed down his pale face. He was crying. Not the reaction I was hoping for but it's still enjoyable. Why am I doing this to him? “Hmm. it is fun?” I grinned and raised an eyebrow at him. “What?!” for a second, I
I lay flat on the bed. Staring down into the pair of blue heated eyes, smoldered with lust. The dark room was lit enough for me to see the beads of sweat that shone on his forehead. He pulled my hips closer and continued thrusting two fingers into my asshole. Both of my legs were carefully placed on each of his shoulders, allowing him to get a good view of my rear end. “lift your hips” his voice was low and raspy. I did. Then he kissed my hard, throbbing dick, taking it inside his hot, wet mouth. I couldn’t believe the moans I was hearing were coming out from my own mouth. The amount of pleasure I was getting from him fingering and sucking me off, was insane. It was a whole new level. Totally different from when Travis had jerked me off, back when we went camping in high school. Or when I tried doing it myself. “slow..w down a bit” I breathed. Grabbed his hair. Thrusting my dick into his mouth. The way he was going down on me like he was sucking on a lollipop. I’ve never felt a
The heat that had been coiled up in my stomach all this while suddenly moved, strutting through my legs. It felt as if someone was fanning the flames.“Your face… ugh… it’s making me go crazy,” he growled as he threw his head back in ecstasy. He held me in place with just one hand while the other
I pushed the door open, and the cool air hit me in the face. Taking a shaky step inside, my gaze darted around the place. The place was dark, yet there were recessed lights that didn’t feel like they were there to illuminate so much as to keep me aware of every step I took. There wasn’t much to s
Whispers of “wow” and “they look good together” filled the place as Sonya and Mr. Regnald majestically walked down to a table at the other side of the restaurant. With Sonya wearing a red mini satin dress with black heels to go with her luscious black hair that reflected the restaurant’s lights, Mr
Right there in my dorm room, Dave and I sat on my bed reading the articles and blogs about the Enigmatic family on the net. Though we couldn’t find much, the few we did find had nothing to say about Rowen. Guess Mr. Handsome Rival is an offline person, huh?But belonging to a rich and powerful fami
