Chapter 188

Lucas and Nicole were coming back from the apartment after having a nice time together. They had spent their evening in the central park of the city taking in nature and enjoying each other's warm company. It's been barely over 24 hours since Lucas proposed to Nicole and she had accepted his proposal to marry him. They had fixed their wedding for the following weekend, something lovely but private. Just the 2 of them with Mark and Andrew. Nicole would have loved Angela to come with them but she was nowhere to be found.

As they walked into the building hand in hand, both of them happy and smiling, Lucas picked up a strong euphoric smell on the first floor. He was already used to the smell of Nicole, this couldn't be her. He let his sense of smell guide him to his targets and when he opened his eyes he saw two couples ahead of them making their way to the elevator.
