Bonnie
“Bonnie!” A familiar voice came from the entrance of the clubhouse.
“Carbon!” I cried, excitedly.
He headed over to me and dropped his bag on the floor, he bent down and wrapped me up in a massive bear-hug.
I’d known Carbon for years, his older brother was Blade, the VP of the Toronto Renegades. Carbon was the same age as me, Blade, was a lot older. When I first arrived at the club with my mom, Blade brought Carbon, or Nolan, as I knew him, so I had someone to hang out with. He had been my best friend for the last 5 years.
“How you doin’, beautiful?” he asked me, as he playfully messed up my hair.
“Get the fuck off,” I laughed as I shoved him off me.
I hadn’t noticed before, but everyone had stopped what they were doing to see what was going on. Ink walked over to us and reached out to shake Carbon’s hand.
