“Hello, my name is David Kennedy, and this is my girlfriend Tina Spencer. We are here to meet with someone from child services?”
The woman behind the desk looked on the computer screen. “Yes, I have you booked in with Melanie at 12pm, you’re a little early but I will call to see if she is available now.”
“Thank you.” He smiled.
She picked up the phone and dialed a number. “Hi Melanie, Mr. Kennedy and Ms. Spencer are here for your 12 o’clock.” Pause. “Ok, I will let them know.”
“She is just finishing off with the previous appointment. She will be right down once she’s finished. Would you like to take a seat and I will make some drinks?” the receptionist offered.
