Chapter 23 (b)

What Christian felt for that cute boy was completely beyond his imagination. The feelings that rose in his heart towards that child were very deep and sudden. He did not know how or why he felt a kind of duty, a deep emotion and a very deep and strange pull towards that child. He just knew that he felt it strangely and suddenly.

The boy attracted him to do something for him and he knew what he had to do.

Upon listening to his heart, his legs on their own walk in the direction of that kid. He stood right beside the kid, looking down at him. His eyes still lingered on the hanging board from far away. Christian looked at the kids that surrounded the ice cream man, some buying, some having their own and some requesting their parents to buy one for them.

“Um… hi,” he said, catching the boy’s attention. “You want one for you?” He asked when the boy did not speak anything. He was just staring up at the stranger, craning his neck.
