I glance at my watch, another more minutes had gone by.
I'd been staring at Amber's face for a fucking hour. She must have been dizzy from the time we spent soaking in the jacuzzi earlier. She was sound asleep, so this was my chance to stare at her for a long time. Her looks, I've long dreamed of seeing again. She has always been my inspiration. I always want her back.I couldn't make sense of how much she changed in just the past 5 years. When I first met her, she was only 17 or 18 and I promised myself to take care of her and her Mom as a family. But I failed them. I sighed as I think back to what happened in the past.
