CHAPTER 6

(Amber POV)

I woke up from the cold I felt. I noticed I was lying down on something soft. The cold makes me feel numb. I opened my eyes properly. It was dazzled by the brightness of the light. My eyelids are heavy and seemed swollen. I noticed I was in an unfamiliar room.

"Vaz," I called to know that it is not Vaz. That voice is familiar to me when my name was called.

My eyesight is blurry.

I noticed Vaz in a corner.

He sat facing the glass wall looking down on it. What time is it there? Where is this place located?

Are you okay?" He asked to turn his back facing me.

I slowly got up and wrapped myself in a blanket.

"Thank you!" I murmured. I don't know what would have happened to be there when I fainted in the middle of the road with the pouring heavy rain if Vaz hadn't come.

Damn

The infidelity of Rhyz and Holly came back to my mind. I close my eyes to calm the throbbing of my chest and ease my difficulty breathing.
