“I needed to see her and speak to her about what happened. I felt she could tell me the truth”

“What truth, Iris. Where you went is no place for you. You shouldn’t have gone there” He barked.

“I wasn’t alone. Logan was with me” I explained calmly hoping it would be enough to make him see that I wasn’t in danger when I went there but instead he huffed and threw a punishing look at the door as though he wanted to go hand one to Logan since he was just outside the door.

“Still doesn’t matter. He wasn’t permitted to take you down there” prince said with a sigh and I continued.

“He didn’t want to so I sort of threatened him” I admitted with quiet voice and he arched a brow at me.

“I know I was wrong but I spoke to Lady Vena about what happened and i want you to please set her free” I said with determination.

“What? Have you gone mad?” He croaked in disbelief as he stared my startled form down with narrowed eyes.
